57-0915E Hebrews, Chapter Seven #1
September 15, 1957
There are two Scriptures we find in the Old Testament about a mysterious Man named Melchisedec.
And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.
Genesis 14:18-20
The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
Psalm 110:4
Why would both Paul and Brother Branham spend so much time referring to this mysterious Man and comparing Him to the Lord Jesus? We’ve been introduced to Him in the past couple sermons, but now the prophet goes deep into revelation of who this Man really is.
We count it a great honor to hear these sermons with you, and once again, we look forward to another powerful message from God’s prophet, William Marrion Branham.
