According to statistics, there are over 2 million people locked up in the U.S. prison system. Some of these people are hardened criminals, while some are just good people who made some mistakes. But all 2 million + people in prison in the U.S. are human beings who have the opportunity to accept the Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus died for their sins, just like He died for ours!

The prison work at VGR is big. We support hundreds of prisons with Brother Branham’s books and Bibles and get requests for more material every day. One of the biggest requests we have is for small, pocket sized Bibles. Believe it or not, some of the prisoners who request a Bible have never even heard of the Bible before going to prison! Imagine their surprise when they learn about Jesus, and how He forgives us of our sins and gives us Eternal Life.

Our next Cub Corner Missionary Sponsorship will be sending thousands of Bibles into the U.S. prison system. There is a good chance that these Bibles will make their way into each state in the U.S.

Over the years we have learned to concentrate our efforts on prison receiving hubs. These are places where prisoners go for processing before being sent off to a more permanent prison. Some prisoners stay there for a day or two, while others stay for a few weeks or even longer. If we send Bibles and Brother Branham material to those hubs, prisoners take it with them to prisons all around the country. This turns out to be a great way to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the entire prison system.
