Nigeria Youth Contenders of the Bride Assembly

We love to see the young Bride of Christ in unity and gathered around the Word of God. How thankful we are to have an Absolute that draws us all together.

Youth Contenders of The bride Assembly (Lagos Church)

Saturday 7th december, 2013 will remain evergreen in the hearts of the Youth Contenders of The Bride Assembly, Lagos Church, Ijesha. As the much awaited visit to the Voice of God Recordings office, at Ikeja, Lagos Nigeria became a reality, a good number of the youth fellowship members gathered at the church premises between the hours of 9am – 12noon in the morning. Some minutes after twelve we took off in high spirit and expectation to our destination.

As we journeyed, we praised and worshiped the Name of the Lord for allowing us as youths to have the opportunity to go to His storehouse and to eat of the Food of the eagles.

When we got to the serene, quiet and beautiful environment, we were welcomed warmly by Brother Andrew Alasa, the Voice of God’s representative to Nigeria, and ushered into the fully air conditioned reception hall of the small but fully stocked library.

Pictures of Brother William Marrion Branham, the Voice of God Recordings Jeffersonville’s office, the president Bro Joseph Branham andBro Billy Paul Branham and all the staffs of the office adorned the wall. One was sure not to miss the monument of the lighthouse standing at a strategic position in the office, depicting truly what the Message of the hour is in this age. Messages of Brother William Marrion Branham adorned the wall shelves of the office, in such a way that triggers the instant hunger to study them. We finally settled down and said an opening prayer to acknowledge the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ and started the service proper, because he says in John 18:20, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Brother Andrew Alasa read us a welcome address on behalf of Brother Joseph and moved on to tell us all about the Voice of God Recordings in his words. We also saw on their webpage, “the Voice of God Recordings is a non-denominational body which is not under the governorship of any church body. We also do not subscribe to any man-made creeds and our only “doctrinal statement” is our belief in the absolute authority of the Word of God. We believe only in the headship of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

These words lifted up our hearts and sealed our faith the more knowing we have the undiluted Truth of the Word of God. We were also introduced to the Young Foundations, a ministry created by Brother Joseph to help the youth in this age grow in the Message, and their web site full of Brother Branham’s messages, Christian songs, quiz games, Quiet Time…etc.

We where also glad we had the opportunity to give edifying poems and recitations to God and all the youths world wide, and in what better way could we show our joy than sing and dance to the Lord with our instrument of ten strings, as David said; psalm 122: 1, “I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord.

Though “man shall not live by bread alone” this didn’t stop Brother Andrew and his team from treating us to a sumptuous meal and drinks to go with it, and after that we all took photographs with Brother Andrew.

The moment we were waiting for came when sermon books of Brother William Marrion Branham and the Catch the Vision magazine were distributed to us free of charge. What a blessing it was for all of us as we offered a prayer of thanksgiving to God for the successful program and the blessing each of us received.

What a day, and indeed it was a day of blessings for all the Youth Contenders of the Bride Assembly, and on this note the entire youth fellowship of the Bride Assembly Church, Ijesha, Lagos Nigeria wish to say a big thank you to our Lord Jesus Christ, the Voice of God Recordings, president Brother Joseph and Brother Billy Paul Branham, and the entire staff of the Voice of God Recordings, Jeffersonville, USA and to Brother Andrew Alasa (the representative of the VGR in Nigeria) and his team.

We pray that God would give you all the grace to continue in the good work that you are doing to make the Message get to the hands of the youth around the world, may the Lord Jesus Christ bless you all, Amen.

Shalom to the Bride of Christ.
