The Fight of Faith

This poem gives us a faithful reminder to fight on while the battle is greatest.

Today I see so many growing weary in the Fight of Faith. It breaks my heart. I was thinking on this just today and the Lord gave me this poem. I felt led to share it with His young people. God Bless.

The Fight Of Faith:

Why do Christians lay down their armor, When the battle is the greatest, Why is it they give up the fight, When the hour grows it's latest? Oh when the battle's raging friend, And the enemy closes in, Why lay down your weapons now, Without them you can't win. You say you're weary from the fighting, This war has been too long, You can't face another trial, You simply can't go on. But is it worth the scars and wounds, For just a moment's rest, Can you say that Now you find, True peace, and happiness? Oh we must fight if we would reign, Increase our courage LORD, To forsake this world and all it's pleasure's, That we might gain Heaven's Great Reward!
And brother, this is God's Word, which is sharper than a two-edged sword. It's the greatest power that was ever put in the hands of man, and God's expecting Adam's race to put sin, sickness, and all kinds of devils to the fighting walls. That's right. We've got the most powerful Weapon that there is. Arnold von Winkelried left them with sticks and stones, but Christ left us with His Word and Spirit. Let's fight! Let's stand for Christ! Let's stand for the Word! Let's pull the sword out of its sheaf and fight. 57-0307
