Dear Bro Joseph and Young Foundations,
The Lord Bless you richly. We are so happy to greet you all in the name of our Lord Jesus. This Easter season will forever remain in our memories as one of the highlight times in the lives of the young people here in Trinidad & Tobago.
When it was announced that YF was having a special Revival Month on the Church Ages, we were so eager to get right into it. We couldn’t imagine how special this time would really be. While we were having a jubilee on these Messages, then came the special invitation to join in listening to the Seven Seals in commemoration of it being preached 50 years ago. Well, of course, we plunged right into it, as for the entire week, each night, the believers and young people gathered at church to feast on the Seven-course menu. At the end, we remained on a high, as we still were in Revival Month. Then came the amazing news, concerning the Secret MP3 Jesus Jar Project.
Since the start of this project, we have been eager to find out where these special gifts will be going, but never could we imagine that we in Trinidad would be on the receiving end. It was on Thurs. 4th, April that we received secret word about the project, and our pastor did a pretty good job of keeping it a secret, telling only those who would be part of its distribution, so as not to ruin the surprise for the children. One of our biggest concerns was how to gather the youth to give them their gifts, without them suspecting anything. Our pastor decided to announce a gathering on Saturday evening, and moments before the announcement, we realized that this Saturday would be Bro. Branham’s Birthday. How perfect! This would prove to be the perfect event for this gift giving, and we knew they wouldn’t suspect a thing.
So we announced an evening of games, kite-flying, snacks and fun in honor of this special day. When on Saturday morning we read the article on VGR inviting us to “take a few hours out of your day to thank the Lord Jesus for the Message He brought us through His prophet, Brother Branham”, we felt we were in the will of God. We had a wonderful time throughout the day, but as we came to a close, we announced that we had a special ‘guest’, or at least they thought they heard the word ‘guest’, but it was actually ‘special guess’. From that point, the screams were on, as the young and old alike tried to guess what was behind the hidden cards. When the revealing words disclosed the secret, and the correct answer was shouted out, the children were literally airborne. Words can’t express that moment. As the previously hidden table was brought out, displaying the precious gifts sent to us by Bro. Joseph and Young Foundations, the place just couldn’t be quieted. We have sent a little video, and pictures that hopefully would express our gratitude for what you all are doing, not only for us, but for all young people across the world. We are humbled to receive these gifts, and are certainly unworthy of them, but it is inspiring to think, that on this day, many years ago, Our Lord Jesus sent into this world a very special gift, Bro. Branham, for which we will be eternally grateful, and now many years later, through the continuance if his ministry, on this special day, we have received gifts for which we are equally tankful.
On behalf of all the youth in Trinidad and Tobago, we would like to let you know that we love you all and are praying always for you, keep pressing the battle and we greatly appreciate your labor of love.
