We recently received this testimony from a thankful and proud dad.
God bless you all at VGR. I just have on my heart to share this little testimony for His glory.
About a month ago, my 12 year old son William asked me about having a connection on Facebook with friends. At first, I was firm saying that I don't want that in my house...period. But, he insisted day after day saying that he will just have one school friend and will block others coming in contact, and he explained that I don't trust him enough.
I explained as much as a father can that I consider that Facebook is an open door for the devil to enter in our home, and that I don't want bad influences coming from everywhere. I also explained that we must use the time for God and not for the worldly things. Anyway, he continued to put pressure on me, as much as I finally accepted, being tired that day (about a week ago). He said to me that I should trust him, and he said that he will have only one friend and that's it.
The next day, he was so happy to make his profile. But it was not long that the world entered in by his connection, while I can see the huge amount of people trying to contact him daily.
Even so, my morning prayer asking for His guidance was still in force, and I started praying God to help me. Starting last Thursday, for three days, I prayed God to touch the heart of my son and to give him the grace to disconnect that Facebook link with the world, while I was away from home for those three days.
God answers prayer! Just as I came back home and opened the door, my son ran to me and said: "Dad, you were right, Facebook is not a good thing, and I completely disconnected to avoid bad stuff to come at our home." My heart was so blessed to see my young William take a stand like that against all his friends making pressure.
Prayers changes things, as Brother Branham said.
