Our Still Waters Camp theme has held strong this year, and it continues to be a very present desire in our hearts, to be perfect IN HIM.
As the coming of the Lord draws ever so near, there is nothing more critical on the minds and hearts of God's children than making ourselves ready for His return. We know that we MUST be perfect IN HIM, and we've been given a perfect Message to prepare us for a perfect Bridegroom to catch away a perfect Bride. This Christmas time of year provides us with an opportunity to press in to that perfection, as we're reminded of the true Christ in CHRISTmas
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. (Colossians 2:6-7)
Then my salvation, yours, tonight, does not hinge upon the merits of our own acts. It hinged upon the positive sovereign grace of Almighty God Who has chosen us in Him. Certainly. How glorious it is to have the revelation that God sent His Son, a perfect Sacrifice that's already been received, so that we too could have Eternal Life and enter into that perfect rest. What better time of year to thank Him for the greatest Christmas present that anybody could get.
…vindicated in your own flesh, you are the person that's borned of the Holy Spirit. Wouldn't you love to have that? Wouldn't that be the greatest Christmas present that anybody could get?
