Zimbabwe Quiet Time Report

Below is the sweet report and pictures from the final Quiet Time that was held at the VGR Zimbabwe office before the Lord took our precious Brother Gordon Tutani Home to Glory. Although Brother Gordon wasn't able to be present in person, we know he was in heart and spirit, and the youth held Brother Gordon in special prayer during this solitary hour and as they closed the gathering.

This report is a true testimony of the amazing impact God's servant had on the youth of his country that he so passionately served.

This past Saturday November 5 we had a wonderful Quiet Time with the Young People at the Harare VGR office. Although several things were going on this weekend a group of about 70 young people did not miss this special opportunity to have a one on one interview with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thirty minutes before the appointed time the youths had begun to gather inside the Conference Hall. We had received communication from another big group of young people, who usually join us from out of town, to say that they didn't have the means to make it to the city for QT this time. But they told us that they were gathering at their church site to fellowship and commune with the Lord Jesus Christ at the same time with the rest of the Bride around the world. It was so sweet to hear that.

We always have new people for Quiet Time, so we always spend a few minutes reading the letter Brother Joseph wrote when Global Quiet Time started, along with our anchor quotes from The Message where the Prophet speaks about the blessing and benefits of spending time alone with God. After Bro Ben did this beautifully, we were ready for our special private interviews with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Almost immediately a serene silence fell across the entire property as we each found a special spot and let the veil drop behind us. If you have had the privilege of setting aside a select time with The Lord, then you know the blessings that each one of us enjoyed during this special hour.

As usual the hour quickly flew by and we gathered back in the hall to thank God together. We had a wonderful time and a dismissal loaded with molasses and honey to the elbows for all the other believers to lick, because we had been in HIS presence. After the normal prayer, we also had a special prayer for the rugged soldier Brother G, for the Lord to restore him completely and bring him back to his post of duty. After this the Quiet Testimony of Sister Joy Baxter from SWC, of how the Lord gave tremendous victory during her QT, was a tremendous blessing to us all.

As we dismissed, the new candidates signed up for YF while the other young people had fellowship and slowly made their way home.

Thank God that there is no end to this blessing because, Quiet Time is Every day!

God Bless You!
