Quiet Time Testimonies From Malawi

The youth in Malawi have joined the believers around the world in Quiet Time, and they have started gathering at the VGR Malawi office to do so. Below are a few testimonies from their wonderful experiences with the Lord.

Quiet Time Testimonies:

The first Quiet Time I attended in February 2014 really touched me as the VGR Manager, Brother Saidi, talked to us about the ripple effect, that if we spend a few minutes with God, reading His Word, praying and meditating at the start of each day, it will have an effect on the approach to our day. It will change our attitude, our speech and our thoughts throughout the day. I took this into practice, and I realize that the more time I spend in meditation, prayer and reading the Word of God, the more I dwell on the things of God, and shun the things of the world. The easier is it to testify and to share the Word of God. I believe spending Quiet Time with God is important, which I want to be a great part of my life. The closer I draw to Him, the further I get away from the devil. I want Jesus to be my friend. Bro Enoch Kondowe

I had a wonderful experience on the Quiet Time we had. While having a great time with God, I read the Message "The Oddball" where our prophet Brother Branham was talking about the Bible characters like Moses, Elijah, John the Baptist, who would go faraway in the wilderness separating themselves from the sins of the world until they became peculiar people to the people of the world, because of their stand in the word. So I related what I read to Quiet Time, to say that if we can spare some time and talk to God, and have our Quiet Times, we can become peculiar people to the people of the world like these Bible characters. God bless you! Sister Leah Chiwaula

I used to love reading Message some years back, and I kind of lost that zeal and desire to read the Word of God. But attending Quiet Time has rekindled that desire to spend more time with God through reading the Bible, the Message books and praying. I believe the Lord will help me in this journey as I desire to draw close unto Him. Brother Banda

On the 4th of May, one of my sisters was having a wedding and I was specifically tasked with organizing a gift for her. As such, on the morning of 3rd May I was busy getting my assignment done. I finished my business before the start of the Quiet Time program, but my mind was very unsettled. I could feel the stress resulting from the morning work. I keenly listened to the manager, Brother Saidi, while he was repeating the ‘ripple effect’ of the time we give to God, and so I was ready to give my next hour to Him, and Him alone! During the quiet time, I started to read the message "Who is Jesus." I enjoyed the message so much that I felt the bell rang before the elapse of one hour. My testimony is that I left VOG premises that day very much more calm and stabilized than I was earlier on. May God bless you all, and may God bless VOG. Bro Steve Ghambi
