The awareness of Quiet Time is quickly spreading throughout Africa, and the world. Youth everywhere are seeking places to get alone and draw closer to the Lord Jesus Christ. We receive report after report of the wonderful experiences the youth are having when they gather at a VGR office, in their homes, or maybe somewhere out in God's nature to have Quiet Time.
We're thankful that the Lord is moving in the hearts of His children to draw them closer to the Great Shepherd.
Below is our first QT report from Kimberly, South Africa.
03 May 2014 Quiet Time Report:
- - "Can’t we have this every week?"
- - "I can’t wait for the end of the month now."
- - "What a feeling to be with God and God alone."
- - "I was drawn closer to the Lord in these two meetings."
These are just some of the comments made by the young people that attended this Saturdays’ QUIET TIME.
After listening to a portion of our Jubilee Message (A Trial) the youth was so charged up. Everyone then moved with utter swiftness to their places of privacy - some praying, some reading the spoken Word, and some just crying, but everyone drawing themselves closer to the Lord.
What these Quiet Times means to the youth we will never be able to fathom. Maybe one day when we get to Heaven we might realize the true impact.
