It's precious and heart warming to know that the teachings of this Message are being instilled into the young hearts of God's little children.
My 4 year old daughter , Amber Grace, will begin attending public school this fall, Lord willing, and had to take placement testing. At the school they separated her from her mother and took her by herself to complete the tests.
One of the tests required her to wear pants. I know some people allow their girls to wear pants at a young age but my wife and I have always felt it was simpler and better to tell them not to ever wear pants so that they are not confused when they get older and have to stop wearing them.
Amber was alone but she remembered Deut. 22:5. She told the woman that she can’t put on the pants and actually REFUSED to take the test because of what the Bible says. Nothing could change her mind.
Needless to say I was so proud of her stand but I thought that sometimes the devil tries to make adults compromise on small things in God’s Word, yet here is this child that is determined to hold on no matter what–even when Daddy and Mommy are not there. Can we adults not do the same?
