A Noble Initiative, From Goma DRC

Goma, DRC is an area affected by many wars. It is amazing to notice that despite all their political troubles, unrests, rebellions, and change of leadership in the city and government hierarchy, VGR Goma has always been able to maintain its activities and stay faithful at its post of duty; distributing the Message of the hour.

Even the youth in this troubled country have a deep desire to do their part. It's humbling and precious to see the hardships they endure, yet they remain faithful and content in the Lord, with a desire to still help others.

The report and pictures below came from our Goma office manager after a special visit from the local young people.

The French and Swahili translations of the first book for children from Young Foundation, called The Mother Opossum, were a real revolution for the children around the world. It truly gave them the desire to serve the Lord by giving them the right inspiration. We were very happy when we received other translations of the precious CUB CORNER magazines also. This had a great positive impact on our youth in DRCongo, and Goma in particular.

A young brother, under the supervision of the VGR office manager Brother Kubuya, took the initiative to gather the young people from the Message churches of the city of Goma, and to encourage them to serve the Lord in all areas of their life; like music, English courses, saving some money for the people in need, and also to bring their donations and offerings to Voice of God, in order to support the missionary work.

This has been a great success. These young people from Goma assembled themselves under a group called: YOUNG FOUNDATION MESSAGERS DU CIEL (Young Foundation Messengers of Heaven).

Thus, led by the Holy Spirit as other children have done it around the world, they want to support the missionary work of VGR with the money they saved, and to spread the Message of the hour. They informed the librarian a week in advance and they came with their Jesus Jars, accompanied with the elder of the pastors of the city of Goma, as a witness of this honorable deed, made by young people to support the missionary work in the world.

When they came, they started by singing spiritual hymns and glorifying God. Then they said a few words of prayers, asking God to bless Voice of God and his president Brother Joseph Branham, as well as all the employees who work day and night to spread the Message in each corner of the world, to catch the predestinated souls of the Lord, until the last one enters the body of the Lord.

To conclude, they gave their donations to Voice of God, the fruit of each youth economy in their Jesus Jar, to support the work of translation for the booklets and tapes. The VGR representative had given to each one of them Young Foundations and Cub Corners magazines, in order to encourage them in their noble initiative.

May God bless you,

Brother Kubuya
