Creations classes are well represented in the state of Arizona, and below is a sweet report we received from the Tempe, AZ Creations crew. They completed the "Cleaning Up" class, and it sounds like they had another wonderful time with their local youth.
Greetings in the Precious Name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Recently our little church group in AZ held a Creations class that was wonderful! They used the Creations lesson "Cleaning Up". The children were all excited and absorbed in the lesson, as they were directed to a large bin filled with potting soil to dig through and pick out a jar – Justification! Then a sister helped them clean the jars inside and out in a large sink, - Sanctification. Then all the children were directed to a table where they really had fun. It was explained that what they had just done was like what God does with our lives. Then the quotes were read where Brother Branham explains the process of being filled with the Holy Ghost. The children were shown how to make layers of colored sand, pretty rocks, soil, moss, and glass beads in mason jars. Last but not least, each child chose a succulent plant to press in the tops of their mason jars. The jars were now filled and bubbling over – the Baptism of the Holy Ghost! After clean up and some group pictures the children all got to enjoy a snack. They took home print-outs from the YF project along with their mason jar plants. The “Jesus’ Love is a Bubbling Over” song was enjoyed by many, and the meaning behind the lesson has gone deep.
Every day seeing the planted jars is a constant reminder of what the meaning for Justification, Sanctification, and the Baptism of the Holy Ghost are. Some of the children have gotten excited while hearing a tape, to hear Brother Branham say “sanctification.” Another child was found in the kitchen doing dishes and excitedly told his mom, “I’m sanctifying these dishes because sanctify means to clean something!” It is so exciting to see the time, effort, planning, and coordination of these Creations lessons making a difference in the lives of the children Eternally!
We all want to thank Brother Joseph and all the staff at VGR for all the work they do. The Cub Corner website, videos, and the emphasis on Quiet Time, the Story CDs and so much more have been such a blessing for raising children. Most of all we want to thank each of you for doing everything possible to spread and to make the Word of God available to all.
