YF Bistro - Holland

On Saturday April 4, 2015, the Netherlands held its first mobile YF bistro, conveniently only 10 minutes away from the VGR office. The short trip to a nearby gym was very welcome after spending thousands of miles on the road. Youth from Belgium, Germany, Holland, Italy & Norway came to enjoy the blessings the Lord provided for them.

Young people like to be with young people, they have things in common and like to get together. This Saturday, on Easter weekend, the Lord provided a place where they could enjoy youthful games, fellowship, and most importantly fellowship with the great Creator. After a week’s work, or perhaps even school, where they rub shoulders with the world, it is a day where they can relax and get a break from that type of environment. It is their “juniper tree day”. Being with other young people of like precious Faith, stimulates each other and encourages one to keep pressing on in the battle they face out there.

Every Christian fights a battle, every day. We’re in a warfare right now, going on constantly within us, between right and wrong. “Shall we receive It? What shall we do? Shall we bow to the world? Shall we give up this thought that we got?” WMB 63–0421

Most youth had already attended previous bistros across Europe and knew what to expect. Some may have come for the activities, some may have come to fellowship with other young believers, and some to get a closer walk with the Lord. No matter what motive each person came for, they came! That still small Voice was present to speak to each person’s heart. All they had to do was just get quiet before Him. Brother Branham beautifully says the following:

“And no matter how bad the times may be, how much your church may teach against it, Jesus Christ is still willing to speak that still small Voice to anybody that’ll listen for Him. He’s still ready to do it if we’d just quieten ourself.”

The day finished with an outstanding sermon by Bro. Branham’s Message, “A Prisoner”. No doubt the desire to become a prisoner for Christ burned more than ever before in the hearts of these young Christians. What better fetters are there than fetters of love?

We are prisoners for Christ.

God bless you,
