April 6th is the birthday of a very special Bible Character. A great Bible Hero! A Special Prophet! Let’s read a Scripture to see who we could be talking about.

Malachi 4:5-6

Who is this talking about? Brother Branham!

God is telling us something very important in His Word; that He is sending us His mighty prophet in our day. He wants to be sure that we have the Word to prepare us for His coming.

God sent us that prophet of Malachi 4:5! You can also read about him in Revelation 10:7.

The days of the VOICE! What could that be referring to? The TAPES! Yes, we just PRESS PLAY, and listen to the VOICE of GOD speak to our hearts!

Brother Branham was written about in the Bible! He is just as much a Bible Hero as Moses, Noah, and David were. God was still fulfilling Scripture when He sent us Brother Branham.

April 6th is a very special day because it’s the day the Lord chose to send us the 7th Angel Messenger.

Brother Branham was born on April 6, 1909.

Brother Branham is a special prophet to us. Remember, the WORD of the Lord comes to the prophets! It’s so special that we have the LORD speaking to us on those tapes. God spoke to Brother Branham and gave him the Message to give us. We want to listen very carefully to those tapes because it’s God speaking to us.

Without Brother Branham, we would not have those tapes. We wouldn't have the Word for our day. We wouldn't know what the Scriptures mean!

It’s important to thank the Lord for sending us Brother Branham, who taught us how to live for Jesus.

Let’s hear Brother Branham tell us about the day he was born.

Brother Branham was born in the mountains of Kentucky. He was very humble and poor. He was born in a little one room cabin that didn’t even have windows. They had a door that would open up like a window. It just had a dirt floor.

He was born early, at 5 o'clock in the morning. When they opened up the door (window), there was a little robin out by a bush singing; and a Light came in that hung over Brother Branham. The Pillar of Fire shined down into the room when he was born. God was with Brother Branham since birth and directed his life!

Brother Branham said at the end of that quote: “But I knowed if God had sent it, God had somebody to receive it.” Aren't you glad and privileged to be the people to receive His Message?

Brother Branham was so contagious with the Word of God! He led millions of people to the Lord Jesus Christ! We want to be a hero like him!

Let’s review some key stories and facts we know about Brother Branham.

• Brother Branham loved to buy red hots when he was younger.

• At 7 years old, he heard the Voice in the whirlwind up in a tree say, “Don’t you never drink, smoke, or defile your body in any way. There’ll be a work for you to do when you get older.”

• Brother Branham was a wilderness man! He loved hunting and fishing. He loved being in nature; it was his favorite place to get alone and talk to God.

• In June of 1933, at two o’clock in the afternoon, while Brother Branham was baptizing on the Ohio River, there came a Voice that said, “As John the Baptist was sent for a forerunner of the First Coming of Jesus Christ, your Message will bring the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.”

• On January 24, 1950, at the Sam Houston Coliseum, Brother Branham’s picture was taken with the Pillar of Fire!

• On February 28, 1963, a Supernatural Cloud of seven Angels (26 miles high, 30 miles across) appeared to Brother Branham on Sunset Mountain in Arizona. He heard a loud blast. It was a sign to go back to Jeffersonville to preach the Seven Seals!

• From March 17 – March 24, 1963, Brother Branham preached the Seven Seals. We are living in the days of the Voice (Rev. 10:7) where the mystery of God should be finished!

Those are just some examples of the many times the Lord proved to be with Brother Branham throughout his life. He’s a special Bible Hero to us because he was sent for our day!
