Brother Keith Herne (VGR Cape Town, SA office manager) made a special trip to the faraway town of Nebo, SA. What was the purpose of traveling almost 1700 kilometers one way? To introduce Quiet Time to a group of youth on fire for the Lord.
Below is Brother Keith’s short but sweet report of the blessed weekend he spent with the youth. You can definitely tell from the videos that this was one happy group of young believers.
Greetings Brothers,
We started with the young people Friday night by some singing and quizzes, and we did the QT Saturday morning.
We had a blessed QT with the young people of Nebo. The presence of the Lord was overwhelming. They were praying outside the building and some were inside but every one was on their own separated from each other as they were praying and reading their Bibles. The pictures will speak for itself. We broke for lunch then played some games.
Afterwards we ended off with a wonderful tape. We ended up with 97 young people. You will see in the videos outside of the young people just before service still rejoicing.
To some up the weekend with the young people, all I can say is “Wow!” These young people have definitely caught the vision. Early on Sunday morning they gathered around and prayed in a circle. After praying they went from house to house in the neighborhood and to the shopping center and handed out some books and testified to the people about the Message. I just wish you were here to have witnessed this weekend.
