Why Are People So Tossed About

January 1, 1956

At the North Pole of the earth is a great show of northern lights, also known as 'Aurora Borealis.' They sweep across the night sky in a beautiful array of colors that make the dark of midnight seem as day. This spectacular light show occurs when charged particles from the sun collide with the air molecules of the earth's atmosphere. The energy from these particles is emitted as rings of light, the northern lights., and can only take place at the earth's magnetic poles.

Brother Branham briefly talks on this tape about the recent time he was standing near the North Pole, where he saw these magnificent flashes of yellow and green lights. It brought another thought to his mind. He thought how a compass will point right straight to that same magnetic pole and guide you north every time, whether you're way down in Central America or anywhere else. He goes on to tell how glorious it is that we've got a magnetic system in glory, and God has made us a compass to guide us through this life.

As always, there is something for everyone in this wonderful message. No matter what stage of the journey you are in, you can identify with the words of God's prophet as he talks on "Why Are People So Tossed About." Brother Branham speaks of the Christian that goes beyond the veil and lives daily in the presence of the King. So many Christians are up and down, in and out, tossed back and forth, but "There is a hiding place, abiding place. We can walk in the Presence of God, and be hid from the things of this world. You don't hear them no more. It's sound proof (Hallelujah.)--sound proof. The world's on the outside, gasping and looking; but you're on the inside in the Presence of the eternal everlasting God, eating from this manna that'll last for spans of years, hundreds of years. It's never contaminated; neither did it give out.
