Our friends and fellow believers from Baltimore have shared their fun-filled Creations Cub Corner class with us. Below is the report, some pictures, and some PDF's to recreate the class yourself.
Greetings Friends in Jesus Name,
The little flock here in Baltimore recently had a wonderful day of Creations and fellowship for the youth, and it was such a blessing for us that we wanted to share with our friends at VGR and the Bride universal.
The project we did was based off of the Cub Corner magazines that the cubs receive. What we did was use the different CC animals in various issues and scanned them to make coloring pages for the little ones to fill out. We included the issue and page number on each character as well. Then they would use poster board and construction paper to make a background for the character and include a nice Scripture verse or quote to go with it.
As the afternoon began and all gathered together, we opened up in prayer and singing unto the Lord. It was a blessing because we sang some of the “Scriptures of the Prophet” songs that are so nice. After setting the atmosphere around the Word, we introduced the project and each one got to choose their character. It was great to see the smiles on their faces as they colored, cut and created their masterpieces.
After our projects were completed, we had an extra special treat for the youth…PIZZA! Fellowship continued as we sat around the tables and enjoyed the food that the Lord provided. Unfortunately the time came to wrap up the evening, but we look forward to the next day of Creations!
