We have the wonderful opportunity for the month of October to listen to a special series Brother Branham preached at the Branham Tabernacle during the first week of October 1958. We have chosen the first two messages of the series, “Lifting Him Up Out Of History” and “But From The Beginning It Was Not So”, but we encourage you to listen to the entire series, as we know it will be a great blessing to you.

We know in this late hour we are living that it is due time to lift the historical God out of history, and call Him into present-day action. This message is sure to prepare your hearts to do just that.

But, today, the people, if they don’t get everything they ask for, the first time they pray, they seem to think that He’s dead. What we need is men and women, today, of gallant spirit, men and women who are determined to hold on, till they see a God that really lives, come into action, that will not take no for an answer. They’re determined to stay with it. If they are sick, and the doctor has said they can’t get well, yet Something within them tells them they’re going to be well. Hold on, no matter what takes place! 58-1001

We also must know where we stand in the Word. We must know how God spoke It from the beginning, and not according to the traditions of men, and God's prophet sets us straight on the path of righteousness.

Now, friends, in the day that we're living, when we see that men has corrupted the world with their traditions, when they've corrupted the church with their traditions, when they've corrupted the minds of people with their traditions! Did not we go through it the other night, and see where that old prostate church, or prostitute church had daughters, and they both give out, for Doctrine, the fornications of their filthiness? That comes through every organization. They're polluted. And, now, I'm not saying get away from your organization. But get away from just holding to that organization. Get to Christ. Those things are wrong. Let's go back to the beginning. Then, if we can do that, you'll find Christ moving into that house that's built upon the solid Rock. And there signs and wonders and every blessing that God promised will be manifested through that Church.
