You Are Welcome To Take One

The Bible tells us, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Despite the discouragements and roadblocks, this believing family sought God's will 'first' for their lives, and God kept His Word. He also gave them an extra little blessing along the way.

I wanted to share with you our recent blessing that the Lord did for us.

We had been praying about selling our house here in Arizona for quite some time. As time passed we felt more and more like it was time to move on. There seemed to be so many things that started happening to the house to keep us from selling it. Bad things were happening right after finishing a project leading to more work and discouragement. We kept trusting that God would get us there eventually. He helped us through every situation.

Finally, the home was ready to be put on the market. The very first morning I received a call. Surprisingly, a realtor was asking to bring someone by at 11am. I had the house ready to show, rounded up my four children, and put them in the car to leave. I was taking a last walk through the house before leaving, and I spotted something on my 10 year old daughter's bed. It was a note saying, "you are wellcome to take one." She had the witnessing cards laid out for someone to take. I felt so proud of her and wished I had thought of doing that.

Later that day I got another call from the same first realtor asking to see the house again that evening. I also had two other calls from other people excited to see our house. They all showed up around the same time. This caused the first people from that morning to put in a full offer, and another offer came later that day from the second showings. As the excitement was growing that evening, I checked my sweet daughter's bed. One of the witnessing cards was gone. She had the biggest smile. It was the icing on the cake.

God blessed our whole day, and our house was sold to the first person that saw it at our full asking price. We are thanking Him everyday for selling our house, and most of all for giving us such a thoughtful daughter.

God bless each one of you,

A family in AZ
