Trinidad - Another Visit To Moruca

Our brothers from Trinidad frequently transport Message material, along with Cub Corner magazines, into the country of Guyana. Then they travel to the local villages to hand deliver them to the people. They also share the many resources and videos/pictures on the YF, CC and branham.org websites. Once they leave, the Message material and CC magazines are left in the hands of the churches to distribute and share with the locals. Some of these villages regularly gather the children together and use the CC magazines to teach and encourage the youth in the Message and Bible.

Here are a few videos of the youth that our Trinidad brothers took on their most recent trips to Guyana. The first video is in the village of Moruca, and the second video covers the villages of Moruca, Bonasika and Mahaicony, Guyana. These videos will always be available to watch on the Cub Corner video page.

A few words from our Brothers in Trinidad following their March, 2015 trip to Moruca:

The Power of the Voice of God in this Last day has been shaking the little Amerindian village of Moruca, in the Northwest region of Guyana. The effects have been long lasting, and today, after numerous missionary trips and visits from local brethren to encourage them in listening to the Voice, we find the believers doing well, by the Grace of Our Lord.

Sister Marsha, at the end of the first video and the last image below, is deaf in one ear and almost completely deaf in the other ear as well. Because of this, only her parents understand her when she tries to speak. When she saw her cousin listening to the Message through a micro SD card in a phone, she wanted to do the same. They would share the earphone, and “listen” to the Message for hours. No one knows what she hears, but her speech is improving. In fact, at times she speaks so clearly that her parents believe and are convinced without a shadow of doubt that this miracle is a result of the Power of the Voice.

Report from June, 2015 trip to Guyana:

MORUCA:

After returning to Moruca on Tuesday, June 2nd, we had an evening service, where we viewed 20th Century Prophet and Deep Calleth to the Deep videos. An interested pastor from a nearby village was present. This was in the church in Moruca. The next day, Wednesday, we were invited by the same pastor to the village called Five Miles, where we had an evening service, viewing the 20th Century Prophet and Chicago campaigns, also CC News, How We Do It At VGR and other YF and VGR videos concerning the ministry. There were an estimated 50–60 villagers, many young people, all new to the end-time Message. Many tracts and Message material was given out when night was over. We also prayed for, baptized and applied prayer cloth, upon her request, to a sister who is believing God for her healing from cancer. We continue to pray for her. We also spent evenings introducing the ministry of YF to Moruca youths, including listening to ‘Be Certain of God’ on Sun morning, then doing the tape quiz with the whole church in the evening (you will see us in the quiz results, called Moruca saints - age 42, because there were 42 of us there). We also showed them the sign up process and we will be signing up many in the near future.

BONASIKA CREEK:

By Tuesday morning, we left Moruca en route to Bonasika Creek, where we would meet with Bro George Gill, pastor of the Bonasika church, on whose behalf prayer requests have been sent to VGR in his fight with prostate cancer. He has been improving steadily, as a prayer cloth was applied, and faith strengthened through testimonies taken from branham.org of similar cases. We were able to remain with them for almost 1 week, encouraging the use of the websites and setting up a viable way of internet connection in an area where only data connection through smart phones are available, to this time. Good progress was made in this area. Again, we viewed many of the YF and VGR videos that expresses the goal and progress of the ministry, which was appreciated by all.

MAHAICONY / NEW AMSTERDAM:

Our last stop was for 2 days in Mahaicony, where we were visited by another brother belonging to a village known as Ebini, who has been faithfully playing the tapes in his village with his family and interested others. He was excited to view many videos for the first time; many testimonies of those in Brother Branham’s meetings and VGR missionary efforts around the world.

Our final encounter was in New Amsterdam with the relative of a new believing brother, who carried us to the home of his relation that also had been fighting cancer. Again, the website proved to be an invaluable tool, as the home was equipped with internet service, where we searched on branham.org the many healing testimonies of cancer, and also showed her the before and after pictures of Sis Florence Nightingale, who was prayed for by Brother Branham. It was amazing that all these faith building accounts were sitting right on a desktop computer in her home, just waiting for someone to come and direct her to it. Her response to what was read and showed to her was very encouraging, and after praying with her, we left her to continue to feast on these positive testimonies.

This brought our trip to a wonderful end, as we saw once again how powerful a witnessing tool we have in these websites. We intend to continue to remain in contact with these believers in Guyana, to encourage and help them to receive the blessings that we are receiving, as Brother Branham taught us.
