YF Georgia Jubilee Tour

This past weekend, Young Foundations set out on its first “Jubilee Tour” road trip bound for Macon, Georgia. What was the purpose of this tour? To show the young Bride of Christ that it’s the year of Jubilee! The Gospel trumpet of Jesus Christ has sounded through God’s prophet and messenger, and ALL who hear It can be set free.

“When It’s preached, the acceptable time, and the time of Jubilee; anybody, no matter who you are, what color you are, what denomination you belong to, how it’s far you’ve stooped in sin, or what’s wrong with you; you can go free when you hear the Gospel trumpet sound out. You are free!” 65-0219

Friday evening marked the beginning of this Georgia Jubilee Tour. At 5:30 pm in the evening, a line started forming outside of the Anderson Conference Center, where the first service would begin at 6:30. When the doors opened at six o-clock, nearly all 350 youth were already present and came rushing inside to fill the large auditorium. They were in great anticipation, as were we.

That evening, Brother Joseph greeted the youth in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. He spoke for a few minutes to prepare the youth for the special message they would hear, quoting a familiar Scripture reading from Malachi 4:2, “But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.” What do calves of the stall get fed to grow up? Stored up food. And that is exactly what they were fed! The chosen message was “The Lamb’s Book Of Life.” When the Gospel trumpet sounded loud and clear, many hearts heard and recognized that their day of Jubilee had come. They were set free.

Saturday would mark a full day loaded with much fellowship and more stored up Food. The morning started with a peaceful Quiet Time, where each youth had one-on-one fellowship with the Lord Jesus. Following QT were a load of donuts and coffee, and a few hours of fellowship and activities before 150 pizzas arrived for lunch. 350 hungry mouths is a lot to feed!

Many youth left the sports complex early to prepare for the evening event. A special banquet and service were set in order, and they wanted to be ready.

At 5:30 pm, the youth started arriving at the Conference Center, waiting for the doors to open an hour later. Beautiful young ladies and handsome young men strolled inside to a banquet setting that complimented their apparel. A wonderful atmosphere was created with singing and fellowship, before some delicious natural food was served to settle things down for the special prepared service.

We often wonder what kind of personality John the Baptist had, or even more so, our Lord Jesus Christ. And for this younger generation, there is the desire to know more about the messenger sent to this age, Brother William Branham. Brother Joseph had on his heart to show the youth some of the characteristics of Brother Branham through the one video service the Lord allowed to be recorded of His prophet: “The Deep Calleth to the Deep.”

It was another Jubilee sound ringing in our ears to actually see God’s prophet in action, displaying such love and manifesting Jesus Christ right before our eyes. Though many had seen it before, and some never, it was a humbling experience to all to witness the great gift God left to encourage His little Bride.

Sunday morning always seems to mark the end of a good thing, but not this weekend; not for God’s children. As Brother Branham told us, “No matter how long they had been in bondage, or how long they was supposed to stay there; when the year come, of the jubilee, when the trumpet sounded, every man could go free if he wanted to go free.” The concluding message, “Hear Ye Him,” was another certain Sound that echoed freedom to the hearts of the youth. Many came in bondage this Jubilee weekend, but many left free. It is a freedom that will last through Eternity.
