Creations in Edmonton continues to be a big hit with the local little ones, and what better way can we teach our children than through these examples that our prophet gave us.
On October 18th, 2014 the Lord blessed us again with another wonderful day of fellowship and fun. The weather was just perfect, a special treat that we thanked God for. Normally in Edmonton we have SNOW and close to freezing temperatures.
We had lots of familiar faces join in for our Boxcar Creations Class. All the classes opened in prayer and quickly started talking about the Scripture and quote. We asked all the kids to look inside their Boxcar. It was filled with trash, like having a bad temper, being disobedient, fighting, lying. All the kids got a chance to think about things in there own lives that were stealing time away from The Lord.
We cleaned out all the trash in our Boxcars and filled them with things that would be pleasing to The Lord. The kids stuffed quotes, Scriptures, and pictures they had colored inside. Then the kids all decorated the outside of the boxcars and made the railroad track for them to sit on.
When the Boxcars were finished the Inspector came around to each one making sure everything was in order, and then he SEALED it!
From the little group here in Edmonton, we are so thankful to be a part of Creations. We have already seen so many blessings and looking forward to our next class, Lord willing.
