Europe Bistro Route

Below is a breakdown of the Bistro route that our European brothers journeyed on to lead them into the new year. Since then, they have traveled many more miles, and the Traveling Bistro continues to be a great blessing to the youth throughout Europe. It is truly encouraging young Christians in their walks with Christ through wonderful fellowship, and most importantly, by keeping the Word of God before them.

The report tells the timeline. The pictures and videos tell the story.

Nieuw-Buinen, NETHERLANDS - November 12, 2014

We left the office in the morning to embark on our next YF bistro journey to Scandinavia. Just as we were about to take off, a man walked by and asked what the trailer was all about. The beautiful YF trailer paved the way for us to tell him about the YF events and that God sent a prophet for this age. He was very interested and accepted a witnessing CD.

After driving a mere 4 hours, the truck’s front right break caliper died. We immediately pulled over to a nearby Ford shop. With all the arrangements made, we would have to cancel next day’s ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki. We were wondering if we would make the bistro in Finland.

Neumünster, GERMANY - November 12 & 13, 2014

That evening we prayed that if it be His will to continue He would have to help us to find a shop where they would have the part that we needed for the truck. Early the next morning we found a shop that had most all car parts for US vehicles. You can only imagine the relief we had when they said they had break calipers in stock. Thank the Lord! We rented a car for the day and picked up the part we needed, only an hour away from where we broke down. A mechanic in town was able to do the repair and we were on our way again.

Lund, SWEDEN to Stockholm seaport - November 14, 2014

600 km (375 miles) miles lay in front of us. Once we neared Stockholm, traffic was starting to plug up and delayed our arrival at the port. We made the ferry by 5 minutes! The doors closed behind us as soon as we pulled the truck in.

Helsinki, FINLAND - November 15 & 16, 2014

We arrived at 10:40, after 17.5 hours of being on the Baltic Sea. We immediately drove to the bistro location and started setting up right away, so the waiting youth would be able to enjoy an exciting day.

After various games and lunch, International Quiet Time started in Finland at 2 pm. All the young people looked forward to this great quiet moment, as Brother Branham teaches that great things are quiet things.

Now, I want you to notice what taken place. It isn't always the noisy things that's great things. It's not the noisy things. A wagon can go out in the field; when it's unloaded it'll bump, and rattle, and make a lot of noise, can come right back over them same bumps loaded with good things, and won't even make a squeak. Why, it's loaded. What the church needs tonight is to be loaded, filled with the love of God. The sun can draw a million gallons of water with less noise than we can pump a glass full out of a pump. That's right. The—the heavens can sprinkle dew all over the earth with less noise than you can sprinkle your front lawn. Certainly. Did you ever hear the planets turning? Great things are quiet things. Watch the Holy Spirit when It comes in tonight, how quiet It gets everything. But we're after sensations, running after little things, failing to hear that voice. 59-0412E What Hearest Thou Elijah

Sunday morning we were privileged to listen to Brother Branham’s sermon “Be Certain Of God”. Only the Lord knows what took place in each person’s heart.

November 17, 2014

We departed from Helsinki seaport to Stockholm, Sweden.

Örebro, SWEDEN - November 18 & November 19, 2014

After yet another all night boat ride and a couple hour’s drive, we arrived in Örebro, Sweden, a city Brother Branham visited in 1950. Our minds drifted to the time Brother Branham stood on the very grounds we walked. We could only imagine the atmosphere there must have been. On Wednesday we had the opportunity to fellowship with believers and share with them some of the work of what VGR and YF is doing world wide.

Örebro to Sarpsborg, Sweden - November 20, 2014

We drove from Örebro to Sarpsborg, making a short visit to believers along the way in Järpås, Sweden.

Sarpsborg, NORWAY - November 21, 22, 23, 2014

The second bistro in Norway! Specifically the games Chess, Skipbo, and nine-high were played a lot. Youth were already familiar with each other and the YF event, making it easier to roll right into fellowshipping. It was wonderful to see youth that has an ardent desire to serve the Lord.

The sermon "Be Certain Of God" was played again. Many refreshed hearts left after the service, singing worship songs together. Even while loading up the trailer, a happy bunch of young people continued worshiping outside. There was a wonderful atmosphere present.

Our Lord Jesus is worthy of all our praise and worship.
