I would deeply love to share a little testimony of the grace of the Lord Jesus in the life of my dear friend and brother in Christ.

Zoe is the son of a pastor in Trinidad, West Indies, who has always dedicated his life to the service of the Lord in many ways. The Lord has blessed him in music, writing songs, and singing, which have been an inspiration and a blessing to many of the saints; he is also a musician in the house of God.

As the year 2009 begins, Zoe’s faith in the Lord was put to the test. The Doctors didn’t know what was wrong with him after Zoe took an X-RAY, so they treated him with antibiotics for a lungs infection, because his type of disease required the work of a specialist doctor. He started feeling much better while using the antibiotics, but as the treatment ends the cold came back.

His dad was studying for his Sunday sermon one Saturday evening and heard Zoe coughing as he stumbled through the door after choir practice. This brought concern to his dad who stopped, bowed his head and prayed to the Father of all fathers, the Lord Jesus, on behalf of his first born son. As another week began, Brother George took his son to a specialist who then revealed that Zoe had contacted the dreaded bacteria, tuberculosis. This led to Zoe being warded on the 1st April, 2009 at a hospital especially for patients with TB.

This was displeasing to Zoe, having to be someone with much commitment in service of the Lord, and as a youth leader of the tabernacle choir and also the assistant Sunday school teacher. It would be between three and six months, using medications and if results show improvement, that Zoe would be discharged. The reality and seriousness of this matter made it very difficult for Zoe to accept.

The feelings of loneliness crept in, his family members, friends and the saints felt this pain as well, knowing that he is an inspiration to them in many ways. This is where the sixth sense of faith kick in stronger, and as believers we know "In time of crises great pulsation of faith arises." Some went in sackcloth and ashes; others pray night and day on Zoe's behalf. Many put there all in praying and anything possible to help him in every way.

I sent a prayer request to Brother Joseph Marrion Branham and wrote a 'Jesus Check' on Zoe's behalf. Eating became complicated and many vomiting occurred, causing much weight lost and pain. But that just heightened our faith in the GOD we believe in, who healed Sister Georgie Carter from TB after His servant the prophet, Brother William Marrion Branham prayed for her and the many other people …

After service on Easter Sunday, his father went with the saints to the hospital and applied the Word of the Lord found in the book of James Chapter 5 verses 14, 15 and 16: "Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."

As the elders prayed for Zoe, the saints sung this beautiful song. The words of the song goes like this, "All is well, all is well, we have heard the Message SHALOM and all is well, there is a place of perfect rest behind the inner veil, so rest little Bride, rest for all is well." Zoe then give a little speech which brought much encouragement to many of the saints and smiles to all who surrounded him. I was one of the many that felt the peace that exceeds all understanding, the rest from the Lord Jesus knowing that truly all is well!

That night Zoe felt worse. Everything he ate that evening came back out, causing some of the patients around him to move.

Well, the old devil wouldn't leave him. He still thought that he could of bombarded his mind with unbelief, but Zoe claimed his healing and from that time, he held on the Word of the Lord even more stronger.

Another X-RAY was performed after two weeks. When the results came back, the doctor said no improvement.

At the end of the first month, Zoe did a certain test and before the results came back he prayed to the Lord Jesus. Zoe said in his own way to the Lord "Lord I am a Christian, the only Christian in this hospital. All the other patients have to go through the same procedures like me before they can be discharged, taking all the medications and tablets, and wait for result after using it. But I believe in YOU, and I have my duties to perform in church. How will it look if I remained in here and spend the required months using tablets. People would say it’s the tablets that help me and how could that bring glory to You; how will that magnify Your Name. But if I come out before two months, then all the glory and honor will go to You and not the tablets." A few days later the results came back… It was shocking to the doctors. It revealed negative from TB!

The next day Zoe was discharged (13th May, 09) and back in the house of the Lord playing music, worshipping with the saints, and also sharing his testimony with us.

I just want to thank the Lord for His Divine healing on behalf of my friend and brother in Christ, and for my check being cashed.
