Helping The Work Of The Lord Monday, April 28, 2008

Display content We received a little love gift from some precious young sisters in Australia. The trio took time out of their lives to make and sell some items for a fundraiser to help support the work here at Voice Of God. One of the items they mentioned making and selling were Scooby’s. We must admit that we had to do a little searching to find out what Scooby’s were. Scoubidous, also known as “Scooby Strings”, are small, plastic strings that come in a range of lengths and colors. The strings can be used to make various shapes and forms using knots. You can make key rings, friendship bracelets, zipper pulls, necklaces, and even small animals from Scooby Strings. You can find instructions and knotting techniques on the internet if you would like to create your own Scooby knots and designs.

Dear Brother Joseph, This is the money that we have collected for the work at Voice of God. The three of us girls (Emily Smith,13, Rachel Dawson,8, and me, Sarah Ferrante,12) have been selling Scooby’s that we made and other things to help with the work that you are doing. We hope that this will be of some help.

We will continue to pray for you and the other workers at Voice Of God Recordings, and may God Richly Bless you for all the things that you have done.

Love from, Rachel, Emily, and Sarah

We are blessed to have such dedicated, passionate believers as these three young sisters. What an example they can be to so many of us. We pray that God will bless the sacrifice and contribution they have made to the spreading of the Gospel.
