A couple of weeks ago, a group of young believers from the east coast of Mexico longed to have their own Quiet Time at our office in Guadalajara. They had been reading YF reports from other offices around the world having their Global Quiet Time and fellowship around the Word, walking nearer to the Lord Jesus. At first there were just 19 brothers and sisters that would be coming, but as they days passed by, more and more brothers confirmed their attendance from different places.

We began to get things ready to receive them on Saturday, 4 of April. A group of local young believers helped to clean and to provide food for the 45 youth coming from 3 different states.

On Friday, 3rd of April, a little group arrived at the office, letting us know their arrival to the city; they visited the office and wanted to know about the next day Quiet Time program. They also bought YF and themessage.com t-shirts and took some books.

Saturday arrived, and before 5:00AM (7:00AM in Jeffersonville) everyone was ready to start their Global Quiet Time, along with all believers around the world, with such an expectation. They were told about how important it is to have Quiet Time, not only on Saturdays but daily, and each one of them was welcomed.

Each one choose a place to read, meditate, pray or listen to a tape for an hour, and the Lord began to move among this little group of youth as the minutes passed by. At 6:00AM (8:00AM in Jeffersonville), a little portion of “Hear His Voice” was played at the reception to announce that Quiet Time was finishing. Everyone began to come in quietly and reverently, and they were attentive to the words that God was speaking through His prophet, William Branham.

When the tape was over, youth began to worship with songs as the time for having breakfast arrived. After eating there were different games for them to have a time of fellowship. Time for lunch arrived and the pizza disappeared so quickly. Full of energy, they sang the songs they learned at the recent YF Banquet, and some youth who have been at SW taught the others new songs. They truly had a Jubilee. Time for leaving the office arrived, and before they left each one of them received a gift from Brother Joseph: A themessage.com t-shirt. Each one of them thanks you for all the efforts you do for giving them that common land.

Fellowship didn’t finish there. They went to a local church out of the city to continue the jubilee. Local brothers and sisters prepared supper and lodging, and the youth were joyfully received. They worshiped around a fire and then we went to rest for the tape service we would have the next day.

On Sunday, everyone arrived early in the morning and the place was full. We heard a tape and the Lord spoke to everyone; then we heard short testimonies from some youth about how the Lord has blessed them. The service was over and there was prepared a place to play volleyball. Time flew and it was time to say goodbye. Each one of them went back home on Sunday evening, but we’ll meet each other again in the near future.

Hace un par de semanas un grupo de jóvenes creyentes de la costa oeste de México tenían el deseo de tener su Tiempo Quieto Global en la oficina de Guadalajara. Ellos habían estado leyendo reportes en YF de oficinas de VGR de otros países donde los jóvenes estaban asistiendo sus oficinas locales para tener su Tiempo Quieto global y compañerismo en derredor de la Palabra y otros jóvenes teniendo una caminata más cercas de nuestro Señor Jesús. Al principio era un grupo de alrededor de 19 Hermanos y Hermanas, pero conforme avanzaban los días, jóvenes de otras localidades llamaban para anunciar que ellos también estarían asistiendo.

Comenzamos a preparar todo para recibirlos el sábado 4 de abril. Un grupo de jóvenes creyentes locales estuvo ayudando a tener todo limpio y comida preparada para recibir alrededor de 45 jóvenes, de 3 diferentes estados. El viernes 3 de abril un pequeño grupo llegó a la oficina para anunciar su llegada a la ciudad, conocer su oficina y conocer el programa para el siguiente día. El sábado llegó y antes de las 5 de la mañana (7:00 am tiempo de Jeffersonville) todos estaban listos para comenzar su Tiempo Quieto Global junto con los creyente de alrededor del mundo, con grandes expectativas. Se les habló de la importancia de tener el Tiempo Quieto, no solamente los sábados, pero cada día, y se les dio la bienvenida a cada uno.

Los jóvenes fueron a su lugar donde pasarían una hora leyendo, meditando, orando o escuchando una cinta y El Señor comenzó a moverse entre esa pequeña porción de jóvenes mientras que los minutos iban avanzando. A las 6 am se comenzó a tocar una porción de la cinta Escuchad Su Voz en la recepción, para anunciar que el Tiempo Quieto estaba terminando. Los jóvenes comenzaron a entrar muy quietamente y con reverencia, y estuvieron atentos a lo que el Señor les estaba hablando por medio de Su profeta William Branham.

Después de la cinta los jóvenes comenzaron a adorar con cantos y la hora del desayuno llegó. Después del desayuno ya había juegos preparados para que cada uno de ellos pudiera pasar un tiempo de compañerismo juntos. La hora de la comida llegó y la pizza desapareció rápidamente. Llenos de energía todos juntos comenzaron a cantar los cantos que habían aprendido en el reciente Banquete YF, y otros nuevos que algunos jóvenes que asistieron a los campamentos SW les estuvieron compartiendo. Verdaderamente que estuvieron teniendo un Jubileo. El tiempo de partir llegó y antes de despedirse, cada uno de ellos recibió un regalo de parte del Hermano Joseph, una camiseta themessage.com, de lo cual cada joven les agradece, por todo el esfuerzo que ustedes hacen por brindarles este Terreno Común.

Pero el compañerismo no terminó allí. Los jóvenes estuvieron asistiendo a una iglesia local, en las afueras de la ciudad para continuar con el Jubileo. Los Hermanos y Hermanas de este lugar ya tenían preparada la cena y hospedaje y les recibieron con gozo. Los jóvenes continuaron alabando alrededor de una fogata y nos fuimos a descansar, para continuar con el servicio de cintas el próximo día.

El domingo todos llegaron temprano y el lugar estuvo lleno. Estuvimos escuchando una cinta donde el Señor nos estuvo hablando a cada uno allí presente y unos pequeños testimonios de algunos de los jóvenes, de como el Señor les ha bendecido. Al terminar el servicio, salimos y había un área ya preparada para jugar voleibol. El tiempo pasó volando, la hora de despedirse había llegado. Todos regresaron a sus lugares el domingo por la tarde, pero quizá en un futuro no muy lejano nos volvamos a ver de nuevo.
