Some
55 years ago, on a hot and stormy day in Durban, a different race was won
on the Greyville Race Course. Upwards of 100,000 people crowded into the
Race Course, the parking lot, and throughout the surrounding streets to
hear the prophet of God. During one prayer from our prophet, 25,000 people
were healed in the Name of Jesus Christ. One prayer! More importantly, a
full 30,000 accepted the Lord Jesus as their Savior on that very day.
On Sunday, that same Voice was heard at the historic arena. We could clearly
see the seed that Brother Branham planted over 50 years ago had taken root
and is now blooming in the form of thousands of Holy Spirit filled brothers
and sisters. We were especially impressed by the cooperation of each group
represented. Most ministers humbly closed their services to allow their
congregations to gather with other saints to hear the one Voice upon which
all believers can stand together in unity.
The VGR Durban Office and Library was open on Friday and Saturday. It was
encouraging to see many men and woman that had never before been exposed
to Brother Branham visiting the office after they were introduced to the
Message during the displays at the Race Course. Many of these people left
with books and DVDs in their hands.
One young brother, Deseker Naidoo, gave a special gift. He proudly entrusted
his brimming Jesus Jar to Brother Keith Herne with the assurance that this
money will go towards furthering the Gospel brought to us by Gods prophet,
William Branham.
