God Protecting His Children
Saturday, January 27, 2007
We received this testimony of a brother in Phoenix
who was in a serious accident.
During his drive to work, our brother was reminiscing of recent blessings
when he saw the oncoming car. The driver of that car had not noticed the
detour signs on the road, and his car struck the brother's van at high speed.
The impact caused his van to roll over into the ditch, crushing the cab
so badly that he could not get out. The other driver, with two broken arms,
ran away in fear that he killed our brother.
When the firemen arrived, they quickly started working to extract the brother
from the crushed vehicle. Once he was safely in the ambulance, the paramedics
asked him about the other man who was with him when they arrived at the
accident. When our brother told them that he was alone, they insisted there
was someone else with him; a man in white standing on top of his van, who
seemingly vanished out of sight.
The brother suffered no broken bones and was released from the hospital
the same day. Although in some pain, he had miraculously escaped serious
injury.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
