The Jesus Jar Monday, April 11, 2005

3000 MilesThe story of Noah's Jesus Jar that appeared in the February 2004 issue of VGR's Catch The Vision newsletter continues to inspire believers around the world. Recently, Brother Buitenkamp, manager of our European Office, forwarded to us a letter from Scotland that really brightened our day. We are reproducing it here for you to read:

Dear Brothers Heino and Gerald and all at European office!

God bless you in Jesus' name!

Around the time of February 2004 it had been on my heart to save change, and I was wondering what type of coin. At that time I read of little Noah's Jesus jar, this then prompted me and I thought 50 pence pieces, 50 being the number of jubilee.

After one year I have managed to save 200 pounds [$382, U.S.], and I am sending this in the cheque included.

Now I am starting over again till next year, if the Bride are still on Earth.

God bless Noah for his inspiration! Another thing, some non-Christian friends of mine have contributed to the jar and I believe they will be blessed. As Matthew 25 speaks of Jesus saying: "Inasmuch as ye have done it unto the least of my brethren, ye have done it unto me" Which means what they have given feeds hungry children of God around the world with Spiritual Food.

I keep you in my prayers, my love in Christ!
