A Living Testimony

He
was born 92 years ago today. He first heard Brother Branham preach in Saskatoon
in 1947. In 1955, he had the opportunity to speak to Brother Branham on
a visit to Jeffersonville. It transformed his life. He arranged and paid
for Brother Branham's meetings in Saskatoon in 1957. In May of 1959, he
moved to Jeffersonville, and in 1961, he began recording Brother Branham's sermons.
On November 1, 1981 he began working for Voice Of God Recordings.
He was then 68 years old. His job was to make the reel-to-reel tapes for
VGR, fill all orders from the invoices, and deliver the packages to the
post office. Now retired, he always has time to tell you the latest quote
he heard on a tape. At 92, Brother Fred Sothman is still a living testimony.
E-5 It certainly is appreciated, all the fine cooperation with these ministers
here with no more invitation then they got. Just... Brother Freddie Sothmann,
which I've learned to love as a dear beloved brother, he come over here...
Brother Fred's not a minister, but he loves the Lord with all of his heart.
And I tell you, you couldn't find a finer man than--than Fred Sothmann.
He's just one... He's not in here now, and that's the reason I can say that.
See? And he—he's just one fine man.
