CTV Tour Visits Guadalajara, Mexico
Wednesday, May 03, 2006

The
Catch The Vision tour held services this past weekend in Guadalajara, Mexico,
the second largest city in Mexico. It is known as
La Perla del Occidente,
Spanish for "The Pearl of the West." The city is also the birthplace of
Mariachi music, which was played by special guests at this years Easter
Open House. The following report is from the CTV team:
"The grounds that had been chosen for the exhibition and services could
not have been finer. Many of the local pastors had worked together for a
long time, wanting this to be a success. So many brothers came to help us
when we arrived, that I felt very humbled. Some of their expressions were:
"Even if all I do for you is wash the van, its a privilege for me;" "Let
me help you, so I too can have a part in this great work you are doing."
Yes, many of these people love the Lord.
Having experienced large crowds in other services, we were well prepared
to handle the expected crowd. Everything came together when the Lord provided
the extra translator we needed on the opening day.
The first night of the exhibitions we had close to 700 people attend, and
we stayed open an extra hour so that all could see the exhibits. When the
people first entered and saw the pictures of Brother Branham and the 20th
Century Prophet video playing, much reverence was given to it. Afterwards,
the Lord blessed Brothers Juan Ceballos, Keithe Herne, and George Ferguson
with key words and testimonies that very much touched the people, inspiring
them to cry out, "Amen!" Many, who during the exhibitions could feel the
presence of God, could not resist asking that a prayer be made for them
on the spot.
The Saturday night service, which was attended by 900 people, went well
with some outstanding, heartfelt singing, providing Brother Keith Herne
with an excellent platform for the message.
Brother Keith spoke to the people about the importance of staying with the
guide, Brother Branham, and that if you have caught the vision, don't let
anyone take it away from you. He also spoke about Brother Branham preaching
in Durban, South Africa, at the race track, how fences were erected to separate
warring tribes, but in 2003, when Voice Of God Recordings held a service
at the same site, no fences were needed, because the Message breaks down
fences!
The Sunday morning service was attended by several hundred people who were
eager to hear from God. The Lord worked through Brother George Ferguson
to bring a simple message, that Elijah would restore all things. So clear
and direct were the words that he took from the Bible, that there was no
room to believe anything else but a one man message.
After Brother Fergusson finished speaking, the spirit of God among the crowd
was so great, that many left in tears of joy, as they were ushered out by
the deacons. The Lord had a tremendous victory; all that the devil had done
to keep us from having the services, failed.
Among the comments we heard from the believers were:
"We hope you come every year!"
"Everything was very well organized and coordinated to show what 'Catch
The Vision' is all about. I am happy to see God work in these meetings!"
"I am amazed how VGR works to produce and distribute the messages!"
"I am very happy that we can have this in Guadalajara!"
"Now, I also want to do my part to share the message!"
"I had to bite my finger to be sure this was for real and not just a dream;
if it was a dream, please don't wake me up!"
The Mexico CTV team will now get a week's rest before the next meetings
in Culiacan Sinaloa on May 12, 13, and 14.
