New Recording Studio In Germany
Monday, March 13, 2006
As the technology of digital recording equipment
improved and the expense of international travel rose, Voice Of God Recordings
has found it very cost effective to build recording studios overseas, as
opposed to flying the translators to the Jeffersonville studio to record.
Brother Scott Reed, VGR's studio technician, recently traveled to Heimbuchenthal,
Germany, to set up a digital recording studio for the Italian translation
work. Working with the Italian translators, Brother Domenico Ticali and
Brother Francesco Baio and with the assistance of Sister Rebekah Ticali,
the new equipment was set up and recording procedures were established.
After four days of orientation, the studio was fully operational. Sample
recordings were made during the trip and were brought back to our audio
department for review. After the audio departments review and approval,
the digital recording system will begin full operation.
