From the moment the Lighthouse project was introduced and believers across
the nation recognized the opportunity to play a major role in Voice Of God
Recordings distribution efforts, it became evident that this project was
in harmony with the hearts of believers around the world.
Saints across the nation welcomed the chance to sponsor material and assist
in this extensive missionary effort. This sponsored material is now equipping
believers in missionary countries with new books, MP3's, and MP3 players,
enabling them to hear and read sermons that were not available in the previous
months, or even years that have passed since they received their first book,
tract, or cassette tape.
Many
sponsors have maintained their commitment, often contributing each month
to send packages overseas, knowing that their support will enable believers
thousands of miles away the opportunity to know more of this Message. We
have also been blessed to receive donations from groups of children and
Sunday school classes, inspired by the
February 2004 Catch the Vision article featuring Noah's Jesus
Jar. These precious children wanted their pennies to go toward sending Messages
overseas by way of this project. It is hard to imagine a better use for
these funds.
We
have done our best to document the distribution of the Lighthouse project
material. We trust the photos give you a glimpse of the impact your sponsorships
have made in the lives of believers who have been recipients of the lighthouse
packages.
In
addition to the many other countries who have received Lighthouse material,
we are happy to announce that a full 20 foot container has just left our
dock, headed for the country of the Philippines, where 245 complete MP3
sets and players, and 157 sets of the English books in 1965, 1964, and 1963
series will be distributed to believers eagerly anticipating the arrival
of this much needed material.
To date, over 2.7 million books and more than 570 full English MP3 sets
with accompanying players have been shipped to 20 overseas countries as
a result of the Lighthouse project. We are continuing to make progress in
this effort, and as more packages are sponsored, we will provide them to
the pastors, individuals, and churches with the greatest need for the Message
of the hour.

successful in spreading the Message.
