Hear Ye Him (Agapao Love)
February 9, 1958
Do you want justice? Do you want the law? What can they do for you? You can't be saved by them. They just tell you you're a sinner and that you're guilty and must die.
Or do you want Jesus? Do you want His mercy and grace? What can Jesus do for you?
"He can wipe away your sins. He can take your guilt away. He can take God's law and make it righteous. He can take the justice of God upon His Own Self and bear the sins that you have committed. "This is My beloved Son; hear you Him." What did He represent? The love of God."
Because Jesus gave His life on Calvary, justice and law are gone. They were met in the cross. They saw Jesus only standing there, God's love to a lost world. He didn't have to go to Calvary, Brother Branham said, but He went anyhow because He loved you; He loved us. That's why He went to Calvary.
There's never a poet could find the word to express the love of God, a love that reaches a million times higher than any love for this world or for one another. This is "agapao" love. Every other love is perverted and has an end, but God's love is Eternal. It never had a beginning, and it'll never have an end.
"...are you willing in your heart to display the love of God that's come into your life? Could you stand at that hour? That's what will stand in the day of the judgment. And when the great trials are going on, God wants children who will display His love."
