Johannesburg SA Youth Banquet Tuesday, May 17, 2011

The number of Message believing youth in South Africa has drastically grown over the years, and the youth are more eager than ever for Christian fellowship and more of the Word. Just recently Brother Joseph felt led to host three banquets to accommodate the many youth in RSA. This is the first report we received from the Johannesburg banquet a week ago this past Friday evening.

Even while the young people made their way into the hotel hall I could sense and see the excitement about each of their faces. After we gave them the quiz and told them the rules, they were so enthusiastic.

Later on when the service started there was such a liberty that you can't explain, (being that there was different youths from different churches). Bro Gordon Tutani really knew how to convene, and even the specials from the various young people was a great blessing.

But then came the most blessed moment of the entire banquet, it was the time when we listened to the messenger of our day in the message "A Prisoner." You could feel the young people moving with the message. The time when Brother Gordon made the altar-call there was not space for a fly in front, and everyone prayed and rededicated their lives to the Lord.

I just want to thank the Lord that I was a part of that wonderful move of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Your brother in Christ

The youth were so blessed by the banquets we had last year, and humbled to have the same opportunity again this year. These are some of the "thank you" notes we received from a few of the youth who attended the banquet.

(1) Thanks once again for what you and the staff at VGR put in for the Bride of Christ. May you be blessed beyond measure. Remember: only what's done for Christ will come. Much love.

(2) God Bless you. Well done. You have outdone yourselves. Only eternity knows the value you have added to our lives. It is true, let's forget the smart dress, trimmings, and food. Souls were touched, lives were changed, and that's the most important thing. Thank you.

(3) I would like to thank the VGR team for Saturday's banquet in Joburg. It was wonderful and beyond my expectations. I was blessed. It is pleasant and comforting to know that somewhere in the world some people love you. The real love, the One that cares for your soul. It is also pleasant to see some of your companions who have been also elected before the foundation of the world. Once more thanks to Brother Joseph Branham and the whole VGR family. God bless you all richly. Blessed be the Name of the Lord!

(4) Just a short note of sincere appreciation for the Jhb YF banquet. Thank you very much for the effort you and the others put into making the banquet possible. The banquet was really a blessing to me. God bless you richly.

(5) Shalom. I would like to say God bless you once more, as VGR team, and young foundations ministry. Once more this banquet was a blessing to me just like the others. Maybe one day I will have a chance to give my testimony about these banquets.

(6) I just wanted to say that we enjoyed the youth foundation banquet we had in Johannesburg. May the Lord bless all of you guys for giving us such a wonderful time with our brothers and sisters.

(7) God bless you. I had one of the most wonderful times at the banquet. The unity of the youth, the food, the special items, oh my! It was a piece of Heaven to me. Not to mention the tape service. It felt like the Prophet was right there. I pray that there will be more before I turn 28. May God add more blessings to such meetings. God bless you.

(8) Shalom, I just wanted to say that I was truly blessed with the meeting. I received my portion. May the Lord Jesus of our Brother Branham add many more blessing unto you.

(9) WOW, that banquet on Saturday evening was FANTASTIC!!!!

(10) I was at the young Foundation Banquet in Johannesburg, it was great. I really loved it. Honestly speaking it was exactly the way I was pray God, I mean the spiritual aspect of the banquet, I needed to reconsecrate my life to Christ at that banquet and I was praying God for such an opportunity in my prays, and that what exactly happened, words which were spoken there, were words I needed to hear, just like the first banquet last year in Cape Town. I just needed some encouragement and I got it exactly that way. All I am trying to say is: there is something Supernatural to this banquets, they don't just happen by chance, I believe it. God Bless you, A brother.
