Revelation, Chapter Four #1

December 31, 1960
Now, I want to say this before I start. I wish, to each one of you all, the most successful and blessful and healthy new year that I can wish to you. God be with you! May you grow both physically, and spiritually, and financially, and materially. Everything that God can bring upon you, I pray that He'll do it. 60-1231

Just as it is in many places around the country today, it was a good and snowy, sloppy New Years Eve the night that Brother Branham started this short series on Revelation Chapter Four. Little did the mixed congregation know the many mysteries God's prophet would bring out during this watch night service. Scriptures such as Matthew 16:13, Second Corinthians 12:2-4, Revelations 3:8, and Revelations 4:1-3 would take on new meaning. These are just a handful of the manifold mysteries God has revealed through the Voice of Revelation 10:7, and we are recipients of them. How are we so blessed to know this Word today? Because Brother Branham didn't fail to follow the vision of God to bring the Bread of Life to the peoples of the world.

While the world is making empty vows and pledges to stop their sinful ways this new year, by God's grace we can sit under the unadulterated Word of God and grow to true higher heights than ever before. We want to do as Brother Branham relays in this message, "...and that is that like Apostle Paul said, "Forgetting those things are in the past, all my mistakes and all the things that I have done, I press towards the mark of the high calling in Christ." That's the only regrets that I have is my errors for the past year, and the past part of my life, and I only humbly ask Him for grace to press on towards the mark of the high calling. I'm sure that's the testimony of--of all of us, we'd all feel that way."

That's our hearts desire this new year, and we know it is yours too. We have many wonderful messages lined up for you to listen to and study this year, and we pray that each one will draw you nearer to our Lord Jesus Christ.

May God's richest blessings encompass each of you, His young children of the world, as you hear the Bread of Life brought to your ears, and into your hearts.
