We Have Seen His Star And Have Come To Worship Him

December 16, 1963

Many were there in the small city of Bethlehem when Joseph and Mary arrived. Every place was crowded, inside and out. People were even sleeping on the ground and along the fields. The sweet couple came to the hilltop overlooking the city where they were both born. Then the question struck Joseph's mind, "What will I do if I can't find a place, 'cause that Baby might be born tonight." Mary had been in pain all day, and the baby could come at any time. While wondering on these things, Joseph looked down across the valley, and his eyes happened to look sideways where he saw a strange Light. It was a star. He had never remembered seeing one so big. It looked so low, and it was hanging right over Bethlehem. He turned to his new bride to ask if she ever noticed the strange Light. He could see it's reflection in her pretty, black eyes as she sat and looked, smiling. She too had been watching the Star and had a strange feeling that something was fixing to take place.

And they watched the Star. It had an odd action to It. It didn't act like the rest of the stars. It seemed to be restless, moving. It was waiting for something, watching for something to happen.

Now as Brother Branham said, "Let's get in our minds and go, way hundreds of miles, way into the East, the Magi, way up in the East, in India." That same night, as it was their custom when the sun went down and the stars came out, the Magi went up on a mountain into something like an observation tower. They were up there to worship and to study. They kept time by the stars, and they knew every one of them like we know the Bible. Every move they made meant something. If there was any shift, immediately they searched right back through the Scriptures to find out what it was. And that night, a Visitor appeared among them. It was a Stranger, a phenomena they had never seen before. Quickly they began to dig in the Scriptures to find what it was all about. There they found it, "There's coming a Stone. Star of Jacob will rise." Then they knew there was something taking place. They were looking for It, and they had finally found It.

And when you are looking for It, when you are ready to receive the real Christmas Present, the real Christmas Gift, God's Christ-Gift, the Holy Spirit. You're looking for It, you'll see It. It's a Heavenly Light sent down from God, out of Heaven, to bear record of Jesus Christ.
