Miracle In Flight

Prayer changes things. It's the greatest force on earth that we have as sons and daughters of God, and it's proven once again through the testimony of this brother in a desperate situation.
A few months ago, I traveled by plane to visit a friend in another state. When the plane was about to take off, a rain and lightning storm struck.
During the flight the pilot told the passengers to put on their seat belts and not walk around. The lady in front of me started panicking, and I started to pray and called the Name of Jesus three times. When I looked out my window, the rain had stopped and the sky opened up! We landed safely.
That Sunday in church, the pastor told how Brother Branham said that a good praying wife or mother can do more on her knees at home at times than a preacher on the platform. A few days later, my mom called me to tell me that she was awakened the night that I was on that plane. She prayed specifically for me at the same time that there was turbulence during the flight. God answered her prayers in addition to my own petition.
It's so good to know that He hears us when we call out to Him. Praise the Lord!
A grateful brother in the Lord.
But he (Elijah) prayed earnestly that it might not rain. And it rained not for the space of three years and six months. Think of that. God listened to a mortal's prayer. And I say this with--with all true reverence: there is not another force on earth; there's not nothing on earth, no matter what it is, what kind of gifts it is; there's nothing in the world that will come ahead of prayer. Prayer is what does the work.
