The Way Of A True Prophet
January 19, 1963
Old Brother and Sister Kidd were real tape people; even way back in the 40's when Brother Branham first mentioned them. "They were probably out preaching before I was born," he would often say.
At the time of this message, they were well aged into their eighties and no longer had the voices to get out and preach the Gospel in churches. But they were determined to keep going until the Lord called them Home. Sister Kidd even saved up her money and bought a tape recorder. Brother Branham would send her tapes and prayer clothes, and "her and her little old husband" would go to hospitals and everywhere they could, playing those tapes.
This gave Brother Branham real courage. When he would begin to feel old and tired, he would just look at those old patriarchs and be encouraged to press on. They held a special place in his heart.
Brother Branham is that same kind of encouragement to us, and so much more. Anytime we get to feeling tired and overwhelmed, we simply have to push play and our spirits are quickly lifted. It gives us courage to press on, and do all we can for this glorious Gospel. What a blessing beyond measure that he took the way of a true prophet for us.
