Half Mile Hailer Missionary Sponsorship Project Thursday, August 05, 2010

Over in the continent of Africa, people are still hungering for the Word of God. From the modernized cities in the south, to the deepest jungle villages in the heart of the country, the Voice of Malachi 4 is being broadcasted, and the people are receiving It.

Some might wonder how the spreading of the Gospel is so effective in Africa. There's one thing for sure, once they've caught the vision, they're not afraid to shout it out. One way of performing this has been through the half mile hailers (half milers), what we call loud speakers or megaphones. Missionary brothers take these God-sent devices onto the busy street corners, to college campuses, local villages, and even to the remote villages of the jungles. With hailer in one hand and a Message book in the other, they proclaim the Gospel for our day, and transmit the Voice of God’s prophet, Brother William Marrion Branham. What may start as a few zealous believers in a parking lot or city market, many times draws crowds of curious spectators and results in lost souls won to Christ.

So what can you do to help? Half mile hailers are in huge demand for our representatives in many parts of Africa, but their high costs and lack of availability make them next to impossible to get. This new Cub Corner Missionary Sponsorship Project was developed to supply 120 half milers to missionaries in the countries of Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Along with each loud speaker, your Jesus Jars will also send them a rechargeable battery pack, a carrying case, and a portable MP3 player that hooks up to the speaker of the half miler and plays the Message.

We're excited to see the feedback for this project, and to hear the many testimonies we believe it will help produce
