Trying To Do God A Service Without Being The Will Of God

July 18, 1965

At some time or another, most all of us have made the mistake of trying to do God a service our own way instead of God's way. Many hard lessons are learned when we fail to seek and follow the will of God, no matter how sincere we are. But we're so thankful for His mercy and grace to show us the truth and the path back to His perfect will.

But one great thing, again, about God, He has not left us, now, without knowing what's the Truth and how to do it. He wouldn't be just, to punish us for doing something that we didn't know how it was going to be done, and then let us stumble into something. He is not that kind of a God. He's a God that speaks the Word and expects His children to believe It. And, therefore, He knows what's best, and when to do it, and how to do it. We have our ideas of it, but He knows. 65-0718M

Listen closely to this message, so that you don't miss Brother Branham explaining the "five must" that must be present in order to correctly do God a service. He also relays many life learning stories and testimonies that will help you make vital decisions in your walk with the Lord.

One of the stories that Brother Branham tells, is of a child who was killed when electrocuted. It happened only a short time before this series was preached. The child, who lived nearly 1000 miles away at the time, was present at the service as a living testimony that God can still raise the dead.

We contacted the mother of the child, and were able to get the full story of the miracle God performed before her eyes. Her faith hasn't wavered for the past 45 years, and she can still be heard testifying of Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever at the doors of the Branham Tabernacle.
