RSA Banquet Feedback Wednesday, April 14, 2010

The feedback we are receiving from the YF youth banquets in South Africa is tremendous. Phone calls and emails are streaming in to VGR staff to thank them for the great blessing they received, along with dozens of requests for similar events in the future. We witnessed how precious and important it is to these young believers to have fellowship with others of like precious faith. We would like to share a few of these responses with you.

(1)

When I got home there were about 50 people at my little 2 bedroom flat, but they had the guitars out and they were just singing and licking the honey from each other of the blessing they had received that evening. All of them wanted to know when we will be having more events like this and they said that even if VGR had an evening like this with no food, just the fellowship, was more than enough for them. My cellular phone never stopped ringing with calls from people who had been there and parents just to thank VGR for such a blessing. I was flooded with text messages, people saying please remember me next time VGR does anything, even if its just an afternoon of barbecue at the office but just to spend time with people of like precious faith. It was just amazing to see all the testimony and notes of thanks the young people had left for VGR for treating them to such an evening, and pledges from people to be more involved with VGR in any way their services would be needed.

Dear Bro Keith,

I hope you are doing well. I am the young brother you met at the Banquet in Johannesburg, the one who gave the last speech of gratitude. I still remember the first time I knew about Young Foundations, from then I rushed to the internet to sign up, because I had an edge to be identified with young believers in the Message. My grandfather who works with Bro Solly brought me a magazine publication of Young Foundations, when I saw the impact of the functions abroad, I was pleased.

There is something I like about YF, they are not into any doctrine which many Message believers differ. When we are together like the last banquet, we were simply brothers and sisters in harmony. As Bro Gordon mentioned, we are the pastors and VGR workers of tomorrow, then we need to know one another to build strong ties amongst ourselves. The Virtue of our age is Brotherly Kindness, which we need to display more than any age.

On the banquet, I had marvelous moments that cannot be erased. I got to meet believers that I probably passed along the street or at shopping malls, now I can wait and fellowship with them when ever I meet them because now I am officially identified with them in flesh as the spirit was identified with them way before the foundation of the earth.

Precious Bro Keith, I have heard of you many times, seen you on video when you were at the opening of VGR in the States in 2000, but now I have met you. May the good Lord bless you for the labor you continuously do for the Bride this side in South Africa.

I would like more young Message believers to join YF, to come and feel what we all felt at the Banquet. Is there a way we can invite and let other young people know about YF? If you have an idea, may you let me know, because now I am using a word of mouth which is not sufficient.

God bless

It is truly a blessing to be a young believer in this day and age, amidst the problems we face.

I once again want to say thank you very much for the opportunity to attend a wonderful evening of meeting new believers and touching base with old friends. The warm atmosphere and the feeling of kinship was so good that the time seemed to fly by too quickly.

For me, the message of the evening was very appropriate and I'm grateful that God gave me the chance to be at the Banquet, because that message was meant for me.

Thank you to each and everyone involved, the brothers and sisters at Voice of God, and those who came from abroad.

May the Lord richly bless you. We certainly look forward to another Banquet soon.

Gooday precious Sister,

I would like to thank you & the Voice of God team for what you did for the youth this past Saturday. The banquet was really a blessing & wonderful. What you are doing for the youth is really a wonderful job. The effort you made just for us to keep us going in the Word of God, it is really appreciated & I thank on behalf of Soweto Youth & other churches that attended.

May God richly bless you abundantly. Your Sister in Grace.

(5)

The banquet was very helpful and informative to me. It made me realize that they care about the youth.

(6)

Dear Brothers and sisters at Voice of God,

That one was a paradox for me...I never been invited in such a Christians meetings before where The Holy Spirit was moving so humbly. We praised The Lord, we heard testimonies...oh such a wonderful time, I could feel The Holy spirit all over me. Since I left there, there is something strange that happen in my life, I feel like praising, worship My Lord Jesus Christ all day long...Oh may God bless you all. Please I want to be invited in such meetings all over the world. Shalom

(7)

I just want to say that I liked the atmosphere. The message I got that day was that we as youth will get what we desire by holding on to the end time Message. We are the hope of tomorrow and we have a great responsibility to let God achieve His goal of the Message of the hour through our life according to our position in the body of Christ.

(8)

I really had a great time and I really did appreciate it. It was certainly an evening to be remembered and cherished. I am thankful that you not only gave us the best venue but also the best of everything, the food was amazing as well. You really did this out of love for us. I just feel so bad that I am only thanking you now. I should have done this long time ago, but none the less the evening was amazing.

I would like to thank Bro Joseph that we saw that day that we as the youth have a special place in his heart. I absolutely do not doubt that. The effort that Voice of God made in bringing the youth from different parts of Africa was a job well done.

Coming to the night of the banquet, I really enjoyed the motivational talk that the Bro from Holland gave that night, it was truthfully a blessing to me and it answered some of the questions I had as a young person in the faith. Telling us where he came from and what God had done in his life was amazing on its own. It was so encouraging and motivating to hear someone who grew up in the Message speaking like that.

Thank you very much Voice of God. Keep it up and God Bless you.

(9)

A feeling of immense comfort embraced me the moment I entered the doors...Just being in the countenance of my brothers and sisters of like precious faith, although some of them strangers to me, it gave me a feeling of charity, kindness and tranquility. I truly enjoyed the food as well as the waiters, I felt like a king. And surely a Scripture was manifested the moment we started to sing and praise his Holy Name - "Where two three are gathered in My name there I will be." The highlight of the evening, for me personally, was when everybody cooperated in the "standing and sitting" exercise. Everyone was united. I enjoyed myself and I'm looking forward to the next banquet :)

I thank God for the opportunity that I could have been a part of this wonderful experience to meet other young people in the message. I think its much more than it appears, its history being fulfilled.

God bless you all richly. We must have another one in the near future thanks.

(10)

Thank you so much for the invite I really enjoyed myself it was good being amongst young people that believe what you believe. And it was a good feeling being able to dress up and look smart. I really enjoyed the food the music and the speaker Oh Man, it was just great sister. I just wish we could have more young people gatherings because, I do believe our young people need that.

(11)

I would just like to express my appreciation for a wonderful and blessed evening at the Young Foundations banquet on Friday 26th of March 2010. It was a real blessing to meet and dine with people of like precious faith. The testimony from Bro Gerald about being patient and waiting on the Lord for the right answer really spoke to my heart. If anything, this banquet was arranged so that he could speak to me.

It was a great experience fellowshipping, singing and praising the Lord with such an amazing group of young people from all walks of life with a similar purpose. The atmosphere was so electric and infectious that the waitrons joined in on the singing and dancing. This is what Heaven will be like and I surely do not want to miss it. The food was also amazing.

Thank you to all who organized the banquet, the consensus among all present and those who could not make it was that we hope this is not the last event organized.

(12)

I thought the banquet was really lovely, I enjoyed the fellowship very much, and I enjoyed Br. Gerald's testimony tremendously, it really spoke to me. Thank you for all the trouble you guys went through to make it possible; I certainly hope it wasn't the last. God bless.

(13)

Dear Brother Branham

May God bless you for thinking of us in Africa ( Cape Town, South Africa)The banquet was a blessing, to me. I went expecting a blessing and I was really blessed. After the Banquet I felt the joy of being a young Message Believer. I hope God will give us a Camp meeting one day in Cape Town, there I will be giving my testimony, of what happened after that Banquet. May God bless you so much and all your staff members.

(14)

I was very blessed on Friday evening at the Banquet, seeing believers that I've never met before, and having a good time fellowshipping around the Word of God. Bro Gerald's message was a timely one and a real blessing to my heart. Just want to say thank you for my gift note book and for everything that was put together for us. You made us feel really special. God bless you richly,

(15)

Greeting in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I just want to thank you for inviting the youth to the Banquets. I was praying for a long time for God to do something like this for our youth. I Praise God for this. This is what our youth needs. I appreciate all you do for the Kingdom of God.

(16)

Brother all the VGR staff,

We thank you for the Young Foundation meeting organized by YOU(THE VOICE OF GOD RECORDING) here in Cape Town. We was very very satisfied for that. We ask you, please, say thanks from us to Brother Joseph M. Branham.

May you be blessed

(17)

Thanks for everything the banquet was nice and indeed the presence of the Lord was amongst us. We got to talk to other young people believing the Message and made new friend. The guest speaker was a blessing, it was not him but God speaking through him, i will never forget his words. Me and my sisters were blessed. Hope this is not the last one in South Africa...oh and next time please let it be in P.E.(Port Elizabeth)

(18)

God bless You, Bro Keith, Bro Gerald, Bro Joseph Branham and all the other people who contributed to a wonderful evening

(19)

May God richly Bless Bro Joseph and his helpers for this initiative and the gifts they sends, much appreciated from the bottom of our hearts.

Shalom and God Bless

(20)

THIS WAS A FANTASTIC EVENT, I ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE OF IT; THE SINGING, THE DANCING, BRO. GERALD'S TESTIMONY, EVERYTHING. A BIG THANK YOU TO THE VGR FOR ORGANIZING THIS EXTRAVAGANT EVENT. GOD BLESS YOU.

(21)

Dear Brothers and Sisters at Voice of God Recordings

I really liked and enjoyed the banquet. I wished we could've had more time together than what we had on that day.

We had a gr8 time..thanks to YF for organizing the Banquet...It was a grate blessing to be a round young Message believers not ashamed of the Word and i was really motivated..

(22)

The VOGR banquet which was held on 26 March 2010 was a tremendous blessing, definitely beyond my expectation. On arrival we were welcomed by the friendly staff of VOG. The program was well structured allowing us time to fellowship and to get to know each other. We danced, sang and just delighted in the Lord the entire evening. The most interesting part of the evening was when Bro Gerald testified. The things he said were so appropriate considering the ages we are currently at. He mentioned something that cannot be more emphasized and that is to seek God's perfect will in your life especially when choosing your life long partner.

Words cannot describe the incredible success of the evening. I look forward to the next banquet and believe that it would be as blessed as the recent one. May God richly bless everyone who attended and most importantly those who made this banquet a success.

(23)

The experience was remarkable. The event itself had a different atmosphere, there was the calmness, unity express in love that people got to mingle around talking to one another. There were no tensions due to our different doctrines, we were simply the same, just brothers and sisters in harmony.

I was specially bless by the singing by Bro Gordon Tutani, he kept the event lively and engaged everybody which we enjoyed. When our guest speaker Bro Gerald Buitenkamp was introduced, I did not know what to expect, a sermon or a Message from VGR, but he gave us a powerful testimony. I was inspired by his life story, which part of the Message that blessed me was; we should seek God's perfect will in our lives, be sincere when you ask something from the Lord and many more. The Banquet was an event to remember, now we know one another, we can stop and chat when meet at shopping malls.

(24)

I really appreciated the banquet held on the 27th of March 2010. It was actually my first time to attend such a banquet and I really enjoyed it. The testimonies, the songs and the food were so nice. I don't know how to thank Bro Joseph for inviting us to such an event.

All I can say is that God bless him so much and may He bless the work he's doing there in the US. I wish next time we could have more time for such a great event.

God bless you.

(25)

Hope I find you well by the grace of God.

Well the Young Foundations Banquet was the first of its kind for sure. I have been to many get togethers with the Brothers but never to one of such magnitude. This was a real eye opener on the love that brethren have for one another through out South Africa and the world at large.

The fellowship with the Christians from all over the country was very uplifting as I got to hear testimonies on how the Lord was operating in their lives and in the Bride as a whole. It was truly a blessing to just be around young people who have the beliefs and who are striving to serve the Lord at such a tender age.

I have to admit, I so enjoyed the meal and I kinda lost count of how many times I went to get a refill. I certainly hope we have many such events in the near future the Lord willing.

(26)

This report is true and I was there, I traveled from Durban to Cape Town, I traveled by Bus, both go and return, but let me tell you what: That banquet was worthy the sacrifice I have made. I was so blessed, I felt so encourage and I was so happy to be a young Message believer on that day. From that day I have a really understanding of my status now, and I know how precious I am, that will help me to stay pure and save God in my youth, God bless so much all of you VGR staff and Bro. Joseph Branham.

(27)

I never thought that this me would one day go to such a smart event. Just being with young people was the best. I almost did not make it to 2010. Last year was a big year for me. I found out I had a brain tumor that could kill me. Turn out I had this tumor for 27 years. So last November I had some of it removed but they had to leave a piece behind because its stuck to my brain. I think me God knew that I had to be ready fit for this banquet. So thank God for that.

I was the only one form my church. At the start I felt out but as the night went on I didn't want to go home. Just think if we can enjoy being with one another like this on earth how will it be in Heaven. And the food. And the food...And the dresses. And the dresses...This banquet will forever change how I look at young people in the Message. Seeing how far some came just to fellowship with each other. That's love and you can only find that love through God and just Him. Thank you for making me a princess for a night. May God bless each and every one of you. Thank you.

(28)

May God bless you,

As you will see, it was a great opportunity for us young people to come together in such a fashion to worship God and get to know one another.

I personally thank God for the initiative taken by Bro. Joseph and all the Voice of God members and Sponsors behind the scene toward helping young people. May our Lord Jesus Christ richly bless them all. I was really encouraged and blessed by Bro. Gerald's testimony, it really helped me rethink about the this great responsibility we have to carry this Message to others .

Even the photographer who had been hired for the Cape Town event was having a good time and received a blessing with the young people. He said that he was a professional photographer and does many events, but it was the first time he had experienced something like this. One of the young brothers gave him a Spoken Word book early in the evening, and every time they had to look around for the photographer because he was so engrossed in reading the book.

We are truly thankful to the Lord Jesus that we were able to encourage the young believers of South Africa in their walk with Christ.
