Because He Lives Monday, March 29, 2010

In the tattered pages of the Holy Bible, lies the greatest love story ever to strike the hearts of man. It's often viewed by the world as a bygone book of history, or a book of good deeds and fairy tales. But to the believer, to the called out of God, It is God. It's Life. It's Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever.

When the Mighty God of Eternity came from the ramparts of Glory to dwell among mortal men, the Word became flesh. He humbled Himself to the lowest degree of humility, and died on a cruel cross. But the hope that we have in us today, is because He lives! Death, hell, and the grave could not hold Him. He conquered them all!

Now when we look at the world and all their darkness and carrying on, we must raise our heads and walk with our heads among the eagles, knowing this, that we know Him in the power of His resurrection. Because He lives, we live also. Because He rose from the dead, we shall rise also. That's what Easter meant to Brother Branham, and that's what Easter means to us, the believers.
