Not So Different - Feedback Monday, June 07, 2010

Here is another wonderful example of a sister who is standing the test of criticism and loneliness. Though she may seem different and cast aside by her family and friends, she has forsaken the ways of the world and taken her stand for this Message and the hopes of Eternity with each of us. Her story came in as feedback from Not So Different After All.

Amen! What an encouragement. I came into the Message not too long ago, from a very worldy life. My family thinks I'm really weird, and my friends have started to ignore me. I moved across the country to go to college right as I started serving the Lord. I came from a place where there were a lot of Christians, but that sort of 'new age thing,' where they do most stuff the world does. But I can't blame them, because I was one of them until the Lord showed me His love and grace. Hallelujah!!

It's so hard to feel so alone sometimes but I just think of how wonderful Eternity will be, with all of you!! I also Love the pictures. I love seeing other girls like me, and it encourages me. As a good friend told me, (who spent part of her high school years as the only believer around), "When it seems you have no fellowship, you have the greatest fellowship of all, the Lord Jesus Christ." Her words have helped me through some of the hardest times.

Thank you so much for your testimony! I know how the struggles can be, and to any believer who has known the truth your whole lives, you are so lucky to not know the depths of sin that lay in the world. I know it's not any easier for you, but don't let Satan tell you, "you're young, and you're supposed to have fun". It's empty, it may be good for an hour of laughs, but Satan leaves out the days of emptiness and hurt.

Praise the Lord for revealing to us the truth!! Stand strong and do what the tapes say!!

God Bless You
