Brothers and Sisters,

I'm just rejoicing for what the Lord has done for me tonight and wanted to share my testimony with all of you! For a week now I had been suffering with severe throat pains to where it hurt to swallow and eat. My throat was so dry and hurt constantly! I couldn't sleep at night. One night I woke up just choking, because I would not swallow on my own since it hurt so badly. I hadn't gone to a doctor at all and was taking regular throat syrups, and my dad finally got me some antibiotics on Sunday. I missed both services Sunday because I was still feeling terrible and developed a red eye, so my dad put a prayer request in for me. I felt a little better Sunday night, but only the Lord knew what was to come.

Tonight, Wednesday night, I felt much better than what I had been going through the previous week, but I was Going Expecting for my complete healing. My mother who had been taking such good care of me while I wasn't feeling well developed a cold. While getting ready for service, I overheard her tell my father she didn't feel well enough to go to church and to keep her in his prayers. Right away I knew I would also keep her in my prayers and would go expecting for her healing too. Only the Lord knew what He would do for us both!

At the Branham Tabernacle for the tape that night, they said they would finish up the tape "Look Away to Jesus" 63-1229e, preached in the Tabernacle. It was all such a blessing, and then Brother Branham said he was going to start the prayer line. Within one of the first few people he prayed for, the Lord answered my prayer!:

And the lady suffers with something wrong in her throat. It's a throat condition. If that's right, raise up your hand. Now, I've never seen her in my life. That's right. That's what she's here for, for me to pray for her throat. Now, right then, as soon as I said that, or just before, she was... She knew that there was Something near her. Something come near her, right then. You could see the emotion upon her, a real sweet feeling, like, struck. That Light that you see in the picture. Where you at, George? That Light that was in the picture, is hanging right over the woman, right now. See, it's another dimension. She is a believer, not a make-believer. She's a believer.

Now, being that you are a believer, you believe me to be His servant and prophet? Have to be, to know that. [The sister says, "Yes, sir."--Ed.] Do you believe He could tell you other things that's on your heart? ["Yes, sir."] All right.

Look Away To Jesus 63-1229E

I just started crying for joy! I also felt so thankful that he mentioned she's a believer, not a make-believer! Oh how that touched my heart! I believe I am completely healed and I kept that faith and kept praying for my mother! Shortly after that, the Lord answered my second prayer!:

I am a stranger to you. You're a stranger to me. I don't know you. But God does know you. You believe me to be His servant? [The sister says, "Yes, I do."--Ed.] With all your heart? I don't know you, nothing of you. If I could heal you, I'd do so, but I--I can't. ["Amen."] I am not a healer. I am just a man. But He is God. I just a bit confused, because there's an older woman standing between me and you. It's somebody you're praying for. ["Yes."] Yeah. It's your mother. ["Yes, it is. Yes."] And she suffers with a--a high blood pressure. ["Yes, she does."] And you have a--a kidney infection. ["Yes, sir."] That is right. ["That's true."] Do you believe that? ["Yes, I do."]

Your mother isn't here. [The sister says, "No."--Ed.] But when you go to her, take that scarf that's around your neck, and put it on your mother, and don't doubt, and the high blood pressure will leave her, and your infection will be gone. Go, believe now.

Look Away To Jesus 63-1229E

I had a scarf on around my neck! Words can't explain what went through me! I just lost it, and believed with all my heart that my mother would be healed too! I went home after church to find my mother listening to a tape. I started crying and told her how the Lord answered my prayers. She started crying and said 'well do it and I believe.' So I took the scarf off that I believed was called out and put it around my mother and prayed for her. She may not have high blood pressure, but I believe the Lord knew what was on my heart and that it was for me. To think the Lord is so good to me and could do much more than any medicine/antibiotic! He's the Same Yesterday, Today, and Forever!
