New Years In Romania

There's not exactly a large group of young believers in Timisoara, Romania, but it was more than enough to enjoy a time of fellowship at a recent YF banquet that topped off the year 2009. Below is the report from our Romania office manager.
We received many nice words of gratitude from the meeting we hosted for the last day of 2009, and from the participants at the YF Banquet organized at the Romanian Office.
In a nice ambient with little decorations, we did our best to receive the youth from our local church and closeness. The gathering for the New Year Eve is for the major part of our young believers, but this year we had new recruits. As the time is passing, the children are growing and they are eager to be classified as soldiers in Christ's army.
To see our young guests enjoying the evening dedicated especially for them pleased our hearts; they looked so precious to us having fellowship, praising the Lord, eating and creating such a joyful atmosphere. We did not forget about the dessert, the special YF cake. In the end of this beautiful event, everyone had a good appetizing piece of creamy chocolate cake.
The atmosphere was just great! The best part was when we had the quiz: little glowing faces of the youngest in competition with the elders, all together concentrated to answer all questions and to have a brave final. That was the nicest picture of the evening! And yes, the winners were rewarded as they maybe expected; nice materials of Brother Branham and little souvenirs that we know they would sincerely keep.
All this meetings are going to remain in our hearts for ever and ever. We are thankful to our Lord for the opportunities He still gives to us!

"We enjoyed very much being part at the YF Banquet in Romania for the New Year Eve. There was also other young brothers and sisters of our age from our church and everything was so wonderful! The Lord is wonderful! We felt so good having fellowship with other youth believers there. We talked, we praised the Lord, and we also liked the challenge we had, the quiz. We tried to be competitive and we were rewarded. We would like to thank to Brother Joseph for this meeting and we look forward to the next YF activity!"
