Over A Hockey Game Monday, January 11, 2010

God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform. You never know when or where God might cross your path with a wondering and thirsty soul. It could be at school, in the grocery store, in an ally, at work, or at a hockey game. No matter where it may be, we want to be equipped with the right tools for the task He lays before us. You may be speaking to a predestined son or daughter of God, and have the opportunity to lead a soul to Christ.

All begin in January 2009. One of my friend call me to play hockey the next day. The guys know that I am a Christian, and when they have a question concerning God, they asking me. On the phone, my friend ask me something. And I talk with him somethings like one hour.

The next day, before going to the game, I decide to take the "Seven Church Ages" with me, because I wanted to loan it to him. At the hockey game, I start to talk with him. He said: "The guy there read some kind of spirituals books." And he turn his back to me. So I begin to talk whit the oder guy and I say: "I heard that you read some spirituals books." He said: "That's true, I read books like "the sanatisme" and many other. I say: "I think that I have a book for you." He said: "Who is the author?" "William Marrion Branham." "I don't know," He said. So, I let him take the book.

A month later, I meet him in another hockey game and I said: "How's going your reading?" He said: "I'm at the page one hundred. I have difficulties to hang in the book and the reading's long. Do you want to sell me the book?" I said: "Take your time, I am not pushing you." I said that because if I just loan him the book, I know that he will read it."

Another month passed, I meet him again. He come's to me and said: "Here's your book. I've just finish to read it." I had thought that he surely not read it. And I said: "How was it?" He said: "Oh, good... Do you have another book for me?" I said: "Yes, take that one, the Seven Seals." It was something around March or April. After that, no news during all the summer.

Last Friday, around six months later, he call me and he said: "Do you want to play an hockey game tomorrow?" I said: "Sure." And he said: "Oh ya, I'll give you your book. And you know what? I have my own "Seven Church Age" and my own "Seven Seals." I was so happy to hear that. And I did the innocent, "Where did you find it?" He said: "I do my own research and I found a site named www.branham.org." And he said: "Do you know what?" I said: "No". He said: "I have many little books also... Do you want me to loan you one of them?"

Glory to God! Amen!

And I said: "I already have a desk of books." And we talk about the Lord for three marvelous hours.

I want to confess that there was some cold between us before that. And I'm sure that's the devil who had put that between us. Sometimes, it's the people that we think that we never be able to have a good relationship with that are called by God.

God bless you all.
