Halloween 2009
Friday, October 30, 2009
The nice, cool temperatures have arrived at the start of this fall, but so have the ghost and goblins that come along with Halloween.
As usual, most of America will partake in this heathen tradition and dress up like witches and devils to walk the streets. Little do they realize who and what they are worshiping. As Christians, we're thankful to know the truth.
In no way do we endorse the traditions of Halloween, but there is a lesson to be taught. We want to expose our enemy in all of his evil ways, and we can do so by portraying the truth. Halloween is rooted in wickedness, and we are rooted in Christ Jesus.
Over the past few years, we have posted articles explaining the origins of Halloween and its evil background, along with a reality video of the pressure your child might go through this time of year. You can view these by clicking the 2007 or 2008 links. The 2007 article has a few alternatives for the fall season.

Our prayer is that God will protect and keep His children from the evil that lies around every corner, and grow each of you more rooted in Christ.
God bless you,
