The Trial

June 21, 1964

You walk into the courtroom and take your seat on the judge’s bench. Behind you are the great seal of the jurisdiction and the representing flags. You’re wearing a plain black robe, which is custom for such an official as you are.

Everyone is in their places. God’s Word is up for trial, and Satan is the prosecuting attorney. Mr. Unbeliever, Mr. Skeptic, and Mr. Impatient are the witnesses this afternoon. They'll be brought to the platform and sworn in. The Defendant is God, which is the Author and the Word.

God is indicted by the world because He doesn't keep His Word. The prosecuting attorney represents the state, which represents the world. His witnesses are brought to witness against the Word of God. To prove it, he is going to show the evidence to you that It's simply not true.

You are both judge and jury. You must judge God! Is His Word the Truth, or are the witnesses telling the truth? Whose side will you be on? What will your judgment hold? Do you believe?
